Professor Sprout was out watering her plants in the morning when she noticed something odd in the distance. She noticed a figure running around the castle and raised an eyebrow.

"Hm, which teacher would be doing such a thing so early?" She thought, "Professor McGonagall? Flitwick? No, Flitwick is too short to run at such speeds and Minerva running is out of the question."

She continued watering. Ten minutes later she noticed the figure make another lap.

"There is no way someone can move that fast!" She thought setting down her watering can, "To make a lap around this castle in that time is insane! You"d have to be constantly sprinting!"

This time, she moved closer to the castle and waited for the figure to show themselves. Half an hour later, she noticed the figure making another round.

"Now what kind of teacher can—" she turned blank-faced from pure shock when she managed to identify the person, "P-Professor Snape?!"

Yes, there was Snape sprinting around the school grounds looking as red as a tomato. He was breathing extremely heavily and looked like he was going to collapse at any second. Unlike his black robes, he was wearing a black long sleeved shirt and black pants, all soaked with sweat.

"My word," Professor Sprout ran out to stop the mad professor running, "Stop, STOP!"

Snape took a look and slowed down into a jog before stopping in front of Professor Sprout, breathing heavily. He reached into a pocket before drawing out a light green potion and downed it. Instantly, his breathing slowed down back to normal and his skin receded from it"s bright red colour.

"Professor Sprout," Snape greeted curtly narrowing his eyes at the squat teacher, "and to what do I owe this pleasure. You have interrupted an experiment that I"ve been working on."

"W-What are you doing?!" Professor Sprout spluttered, "To me, it looked like you were going to die. Did you sprint nonstop around the castle?"

Snape widely choose not to tell her he ran around the black lake as well.

"So what if I have?"

"At least tell me what"s the point of this suicide exercise is?!"

They both glared at each other before Snape took out another light green potion.

"This is a basic healing potion, I"m sure that even you know what that is?" Snape said with a teasing tone. Ignoring the annoyed look on Professor Sprouts face he continued, "You could say those ideas that a certain student of mine had influenced me. Exercising is an extremely tedious task that strengthens the body, but at some point you"d have to stop. That"s where I discovered the true strength of these basic healing potions."

"Easy to make, they may only heal small wounds, but I discovered that it can rejuvenate a person"s stamina and speed up the process of muscles being repaired. This means that as long as I have enough I could potentially exercise forever."

"Now if that was all, then this potion wouldn"t hold much interest for me. My apprentice has made the perfect item to compliment this training. The comfort water can increase how much one is strengthened during exercise. Theoretically, with these two items, a human can be as strong as a giant given time."

"But we"re witches and wizards," Professor Sprout interjected, "What use is our physical strength?"

"It just adds another option to what we could use in daily lives and battle," Snape said not realising how immersed he was getting into the conversation, "imagine, a wizard having the strength of a giant. He could fight with bare hands and magic."

Snape smirked before placing the potion away, "I didn"t think I would talk for this long, excuse me."

Profess Sprout watched as Snape walked away and couldn"t help but notice how muscled Snape appeared without the cloak.

"When that brat comes back this year he"ll be in for a surprise," Snape thought smirking.

...

"Just a singular thug tonight," Arnya commented as they entered the house. Vincent sat on his bed, "Vince?"

Vincent just sat there looking at a worn out calendar, "I think I should go tomorrow."

It"s been a good two weeks since the night with the Minister. Since then, Vincent had hung out with Harry every now and then. Arnya followed as well. Harry was pretty stunned over all the stuff Vincent has been through, but, considering everything he"s been through, was able to accept although he had an odd look everytime he looked at Arnya.

"Vince!" Vincent snapped out of his thoughts when he noticed Arnya right in his face, "Are you ok?"

"Yeah," Vincent looked away, leaving an awkward silence between them, "Arnya, can you perhaps spend tomorrow with Sister An and Nim?"

Arnya tilted her head in confusion, "I"m supposed to observe you."

"So you"ll go with me regardless?"

Arnya thought for a bit before shaking her head. She wheeled her chair away from the bed and took a look at a sleeping Nyx and Blimp, "I can"t read emotions that well, but this seems to be something you want to do alone. I expect you to tell me what happened later on alright?"

"Thank you."

...

"Hmm?" Sister An opened her door to see three teenagers standing there, "Who are—Wait let me guess. Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, and Hermione Granger?"

"How"d you know?" Harry asked surprised.

"You look exactly like your father, but you have Lily—your mothers eyes," Sister An smiles before looking at the other two, "and from what Vincent tells me, you three stick together."

"We"re here to look for Vince," Hermione said looking around the orphanage, "is he around?"

Sister An looked apologetic for a moment before gesturing them to come inside. However, when she glanced at Ron, she noticed a Rat poking its head out of Ron"s pocket. When they made eye contact, they both froze. Something about those beady eyes seemed far too familiar to her, as if—

She shook her head out of her thoughts before following them. They made their way to a living room. Harry was taken back when he saw Arnya playing chess with a small black-haired girl.

"Sister An!" She complained, "Arnya keeps beating me, it"s not fair!"

She then noticed the newcomers and looked at Sister An for an explanation.

"Nim, these are Vincent"s schoolmates, their here to see Vincent."

Nim looked surprised before going up to them, "So you guys are from Brother Vince"s school? What"s it like? Are you guys his friends? Is he doing ok there?"

"Yes, it"s good, yes and a definite yes," Ron answered before looking around, "blimey, she sure fires questions fast!"

Sister An chuckles, "Nim, I need to speak with these people."

Nim nodded before exiting the room. They could all hear her shouting at the other children to stay away.

"Arnya, you"re not with Vince today?" Harry asked. Everyones attention, especially Hermione"s was pulled to the black haired vampire.

"He told me he wanted to do something alone today," she said.

"Really?" Harry looked confused.

They were interrupted by a loud clap from Sister An, "The reason I brought you three here was to talk about Vincent. Since you"re his closest friends, then you people need to know something about him."

"Is it related to the reason he"s not here?" Hermione asked as they all sat down.

"I"ll let Vincent talk about to you guys when he"s ready, Arnya, this isn"t a particular secret so you can listen in as well," Sister An took a seat down as well, "now that we"re all seated, let"s begin."

...

"A bouquet of purple hyacinth," An old lady smiled sadly at Vincent who received it, "on the house."

"Thank you," the old lady watched as Vincent walked away. She sighed as she thought about the boys order.

Hyacinths, and purple too. She shook her head out of those thoughts as she went back to her business.

Vincent footsteps were soft and barely audible. If anyone were to see him they would be surprised to find that his whole personality seemed to have flipped. Instead of looking like someone approachable, he now looked like a person without a soul. He soon found his destination, an old demolished building that was fenced off.

"Seems that there are plans to rebuild this place," Vincent thought as he looked at a memorial plate in front of the building. It read:

IN MEMORY OF THE CHILDREN AND CARETAKERS OF THE TOBIAS ORPHANAGE

1960–1985

He placed part of the bouquet of flowers there before moving on. It took a good while before he reached an unspectacular river. He sat on the bank of it for a long time, looking at the scenery.

"Do I deserve this?" He muttered before tossing the rest of the flowers into the river.

"Oi kid," Vincent froze a bit before looking over his shoulder coldly, "been a while hasn"t it?"

"Axel," Vincent answered as his hands reached for pouch that held his rods before dropping, "I"m not in the mood to fight."

"Not what I came here for," Axel shrugged. He was wearing a casual white shirt and brown trousers. He took a look at the flowers floating away and raised an eyebrow, "purple hyacinth? I"m not well versed in flower language, but don"t those represent guil—?"

"What are you here for Axel?" Vincent cut him off.

"Your personality has gone through one h.e.l.l of a change since last time," Axel then grinned, "or is this the real you?"

Vincent merely got up and started walking away.

"Hey kid!" Axel called, but Vincent didn"t stop making him panic slightly, "Ok, ok! Fine, I"ll tell you why I"m here!"

Vincent finally stopped and turned to face Axel. Axel shifted his feet around a bit during this awkward silence while Vincent silently waited for Axel to speak. Finally Axel bowed down, surprising Vincent.

"Please don"t hate my sister!" he said loudly, "Please, you"re the first friend she has ever had. No matter what she says or does in the future, please don"t hate her!"

Vincent stared wide eyed at the vampire that lowered his head. Axel stayed like this for a good while before lifting his head to see the dull gaze on the boy regain its light and the familiar smile that made people feel that everything was going to be alright.

"Man, who would have thought that you"re the same vampire that put a hole in my chest," Vincent laughed, "sure I promise, but you have to lift your head up."

"Thank you, I knew you were a kind—?!" Axel lifted his head only to see Vincent rush up to him with his leg drawn back.

CRACK!

The next moment Axel lost all signs of feeling within his lower body as he crouched down with trembling legs and tears flowing down his cheeks in pain.

"That was for the hole you made in my chest," Vincent said happily as he walked off, "I heard vampires heal fast so I didn"t hold back. And don"t worry, I promise I"ll never hate her."

"As if I could anyway," Vincent thought.

"SCREW YOU!!" Axel bellowed as he tried to get up only to tumble to the side in pain, "you #### I"ll #### and ####—"

The following content was not child friendly. Vincent had to block his ears as he walked off, smiling to himself.

...

"Vince!" A blur of brown hair tackled him the moment he entered the orphanage.

"Hermione?" Vincent raises an eyebrow while looking behind her, "Ron too? Feels like ages, what are you guys doing here?"

"It"s the last day of the holidays so we decided that we"ll hang out together," Ron explained. Vincent noticed that he seemed to have gotten taller, "we wanted to invite you but you were out."

"Sorry guys," Vincent scratched his head, "I wanted to be alone for a bit."

"Done"t worry about it, also mum wants to meet you," Ron said with a sigh, "she"s been going on and on about wanting to thank you."

"Guess I shouldn"t keep her waiting then," Vincent chuckled before waving to Sister An who appeared from behind, "Well, I"m heading off."

"See you Vince," Sister An said as she waved them off. She noticed Arnya looking hesitant to go and smiled, "he won"t forget you, don"t worry."

"So those are his friends?" Arnya thought.

"Arnya, you coming?" She was shaken out of her thoughts by Vincent who beckoned to her at the gate. She merely nodded before saying wheeling off after them.

Sister An smiled as she looked at the lot of them. Her smile turned into a frown when her eyes made contact with the rat in Ron"s pocket where it too was looking back. She couldn"t help but feel that it wasn"t a rat, but—

Sister An didn"t continue that train of thought.

...

"So your Vincent!" Mrs Weasley wrapped Vincent in a tight hug, "I never truly got to thank you!"

"Ah," Vincent awkwardly pat the mothers back, "it"s all fine, all fine. She"s my friend, of course I"d help. I also really liked the sweater you made last year."

"Oh such a wonderful young man," she pinched his cheeks which made caused everyone to chuckle. Fred and George Weasley were imitating the pinched cheeks earning a glare from Vincent, "and who"s this young girl?"

"My name is Arnya Tepes," Arnya shook the woman"s hand, "pleasure to meet you."

"Tepes?" Mrs Weasley paused, "Tepes, where have I heard that name from?"

"My fath—"

"Oh hey Percy!" Vincent said a little loudly, covering up Arnya"s mouth with his hand. She looked up annoyed until Vincent put a finger to his mouth, telling her to stay silent.

"How wonderful it is to see you again Vincent," Percy Weasley said in a voice so professional that Vincent had to hold back a laugh, "I hope you"re doing well."

"Thanks Percy," Vincent then noticed a badge on Percy"s shirt with a large HB on it, "congratulations on becoming a prefect."

"Thank you," Percy puffed out his chest a little earning a wry smile from Vincent, "becoming Head Boy was no easy feat might I say—

"Now Vincent," Fred said wisely pushing Percy to the side, "you might be mistaken in thinking that HB means Head Boy."

"If you do you"re mistaken," George said standing next to Fred, "what it actually means is Humongous Bighead."

Everyone except Mrs Weasley and Percy had to stifle a snort.

"Hey Vince," Vincent saw a girl with red hair poke come towards him and smiled.

"Hey Ginny, you doing ok?" Vincent smiled.

"Yeah, I"m doing alright!" Ginny grinned as she gave him a quick hug. Unlike last year where she was a nervous mess, she could now talk to others without feeling like she was going die of embarra.s.sment. Although she did have a bit of pink on her cheeks when talking with Vincent, probably because Vincent saved her last year.

"Now what are you lot all gathered here for?" a slightly big red haired man come down from the upper level of the Leaky Cauldron and joined the group, "Now, we need to talk about our transport to the—? Why h.e.l.lo there, I don"t believe we"ve met. Arthur Weasley."

"Vincent Wong," Mr Weasley"s eyes widened.

"Great scott, you"re Vincent Wong?" Mr Weasley said excitedly, "As a muggle, what exactly is your thoughts on the use of rubber duckys?"

"..." Vincent took a moment to process what he hear, "excuse me?"

"Not now Arthur," Mrs Weasley scolded, "about our transport?"

"Oh yes, we"ll resume our conversation at a later date," Vincent didn"t know whether or not to look forward to a conversation about rubber duckies.

"SCABBERS NO!" Ron yelled as an orange blur shot straight towards him.

"CHROOKSHANKS!" Hermione grabbed the creature which turned out to be just a cat.

Vincent looked at the mangly cat and couldn"t help but move towards it.

"Vincent?" Hermione looked confused as Vincent picked the cat up. It meowed as it looked at Vincent who stared at it.

"It"s so fluffy," Vincent carried the cat in his arms and started petting it, "Crookshanks right? He"s adorable."

"That "adorable" cat attacked poor old Scabbers here, he"s sick" Ron said annoyed, "it"s a menace Hermione, can"t believe you brought the b.l.o.o.d.y thing."

"It is not!" Hermione started arguing with Ron while Vincent and Harry stood by and watched.

"So the Ministry will send us vehicles to escort us to the station," Vincent overheard Mr and Mrs Weasley and frowned before turning to them.

"Why are the Ministry providing cars, Father?" Percy asked again, in a dignified voice.

"Well, as we haven"t got one anymore," said Mr. Weasley, "and as I work there, they"re doing me a favor..."

His voice was casual, but the fact that Mr. Wesley"s ears had gone red indicated that he under some pressure pressure.

"Good thing, too," said Mrs. Weasley briskly, "Do you realize how much luggage you"ve all got between you? A nice sight you"d be on the Muggle Underground... You are all packed, aren"t you?"

"Ron hasn"t put all his new things in his trunk yet," said Percy, in a long-suffering voice, "He"s dumped them on my bed."

"You"d better go and pack properly, Ron, because we won"t have much time in the morning," Mrs. Weasley called down the table. Ron scowled at Percy.

"Vincent dear, it"s getting late," Mrs Weasley said smiling, "why don"t you stay here tonight, that way you could come with us to the station."

"Call me Vince," Vincent smiled, "I"d like to take you up on that offer, but I have something going on tonight."

"I guess we"ll see each other at the station," Mrs Weasley smiled before surprising Vincent in a hug, "stay safe."

"You too," Mrs Weasley smiled before looking at Arnya that looked left out. She gave a kind smile before enveloping the girl in a hug, surprising her.

"Don"t think I forgot about you, take care Arnya."

Arnya looked confused and fumbled around with her arms before finally managing to return the hug.

"Vince?"

Vincent turned to see Harry, Ron, and Hermione looking at Vincent with slightly concerned looks and raised an eyebrow, "What"s up guys?"

"Do you have to leave tonight?" Hermione asked, "I mean—"

"Don"t worry, I"ll be fine," Vincent gave a wry smile, "I"ve been doing this for a while. Well, I"ll catch you guys tomorrow."

"Yeah, tomorrow," Hermione watched as Vincent made his way out, she looked at Arnya, "I know we haven"t known each other for long, but please take care of him."

"I"m merely an observer," she muttered without sparing Hermione a glance as she wheeled out. Hermione frowned before turning back to Harry and Ron.

"You"re worried after what Sister An said, huh?" Harry asked.

"Who wouldn"t be?"

The three of them sighed as they remembered what their earlier conversation.

...((AT THE ORPHANAGE))...

"Before we start, what do you know about Vincent?" Sister An asked causing the three of them to exchange glances. Arnya merely fiddled around with the chess pieces.

"Well, he"s a hero right?" Harry asked confused, "He"s kind, and likes to help others."

"Mad, don"t forget mad," Ron muttered making everyone except Arnya chuckle.

"He"s also a hard worker," Hermione smiled, "once he sets his mind onto something, he"ll do his best."

"That indeed sounds like Vincent," Sister An also smiled, she looked at Arnya who shook her head not wanting to talk. Her tone then turned serious, "so it"s best if you hear this, Vincent—"

Sister An took a sigh, "Vincent, well, there"s no better way to put it, he"s broken."

The trio took a while to process what they heard before exchanging confusing glances.

"What do you mean, "broken"?" Hermione asked, although her voice felt rather shaky.

"To answer that, tell me, why do you think Vincent helps others?" Sister An asked.

"Does there need to be a reason to help?" Harry asked frowning.

"Some people do it because of that," she said, "some do it for glory, some do it for fun, Vincent, well," she paused, "he does it for others."

"Why exactly does that make him broken?" Ron asked confused, "Isn"t that the whole point of helping others?"

"Yes, it is," Sister An smiled bitterly, "Vincent, as long as I knew him, always thought about others, no, he only thought for others sakes. He is the very definition of a selfless person, he has no self worth whatsoever."

"No, self worth?" Hermione covered her mouth while Harry and Ron looked shocked.

"If he had to sacrifice himself to save someones life, without a second thought he would do it," Sister An sighed, "that"s why he helps others, that"s why he goes out every night, looking for people that need saving, that is Vincent Wong."

"But if he keeps doing that—" Ron said fearfully.

"He"ll die," Arnya finally spoke up, attracting the attention of everyone in the room, "that type of person, that type of self-destructive motive, to think for others, and not himself will one day kill if not ruin him. Even the reason he gets stronger is for others sake. Now the question is, why exactly is he like this?"

Sister An was the focus of attention once again. She closed her eyes while answering, "The answer to that is something that you shouldn"t hear from me, but from Vincent himself. The reason I"m telling you this, is because you"re his friends."

Before they were about to leave, Harry turned to Sister An, "You said I looked like my father, and you nearly said my mothers name. Did you know them?"

"Your dad was a jerk," Harry"s face was one of pure shock causing Sister An to chuckle, "but he was a good man. Your mother on the other hands was my best friend."

Harry"s eyes widened, "Really? Can you tell me more about—"

"Vince!" Hermione"s voice rang out.

Sister An smiled and patted Harry"s shoulder, "Another time perhaps."

Harry nodded before walking off.

...

"What are you doing Arnya?" Vincent asked the vampire who kept moving her arms in a sort of hugging motion.

"I"m trying to practice "hugging"," she heard Vincent snort and looked back at him. She puffed her cheeks out, "what, I"ve never had one before."

Vincent felt a pang of sadness before hearing a gunshot. Without hesitation, he ran.

"Remember the layout," a mental image ran straight through Vincent"s mind of the buildings layout, "visualise the fastest way to get down."

"Vince wha—?!" Arnya"s eyes widened when she saw Vincent jump off the building. She raced to the side before looking down, "Why did he do that?!"

The building they were on was at least two stories, not a good height to fall from. Her eyes narrowed as she noticed Vincent swinging off an outstretched balcony and jumped off it catching onto a pipe which he used to slide down.

"How did he know that was there?" Arnya thought as she followed.

"d.a.m.nit!" A masked man stood in a convenience store over a fallen man who was clutching his side. Blood was spreading across his shirt as he groaned in pain. The masked man quickly took as much cash from the cashier before making a run from it, "He just had to fight back! c.r.a.p, I wasn"t planning on shooting anyone tonight!"

He soon heard something from above and had his eyes widen at the sight of a metal rod flying straight at him. He ducked into a roll before going into a kneeling position. He then noticed that the iron rod lay nowhere in sight.

"Where are y—?!" He then felt a dull pain at the back of his head before everything went black.

"I think this is the part where I"m supposed to say, "right here"?" Vincent said confused scratching his head before before looking confused, "Wait, why did he fire a shot? Did he shoot at someone?"

Vincent rushed off to where he heard the gunshot and threw aside the cloak. He found a man bleeding out on the ground from a gunshot.

"No, no, no," Vincent muttered as sat down next to the man. Vincent looked around the convenience store and found bandages which he promptly took.

"You"re going to be fine, you hear me," Vincent muttered as he applied pressure to the wound, "you"re going to be fine."

"K-kid?" Vincent heard a croaking sound from the man below him, "Heh, d-did not think I was going to go out like this."

"Don"t say that!" Vincent muttered, his hands were now covered in blood, "Don"t say that, you are not going to die!"

"I don"t know wh-who you are," the man coughed out a bit of blood, "but thank you anyway, you seem like a good kid."

"Just shut up already, I"m trying to save you," Vincent changed bandages and cursed at himself, "I have a blood replenishing potion, but that wouldn"t stop the bleeding, why don"t I have any potions that heal?! "

"Ha ha, potions?" the man"s voice grew fainter, "Are, you, a wizard or something..."

The man grew silent leading Vincent to panic as he felt the man"s pulse, "d.a.m.nit, I"m losing him!"

Vincent looked though his pouch to see if there was any potion that could perhaps help. He then paused when he found the comfort water. He narrowed his eyes before looking at the dying man, "Please, work."

Vincent then poured the comfort water on the wound and watched. He noticed that very slowly, but surely, the wound was closing.

"Yes, come on," Vincent started pouring one after another. After a minute, the wound fully closed. He the poured some of the Blood Replenishing potion into the mans mouth and frowned, "he"s not swallowing, what should I do?"

Vincent then turned white, "Do I? No, it should be the only way right? But if I don"t then he"ll die. Well here goes, I"m going to puke."

"Vince?" Vincent froze, and looked at the entrance, "What are you doing?"

"For the record, I"m not gay," Vincent said panicking, "and this guy isn"t swallowing the potion."

Arnya looked confused before waving a hand. A strand of blood shot straight into the mans mouth. Vincent watched amazed as he watched the liquid drain down the man"s throat. Right after, a red strand of blood shot out of the man"s mouth and merged with Arnya"s chair.

"That"s amazing, how—?" Vincent heard police sirens and frowned, "let"s go."

...

"Won"t he recognise you?" Arnya asked as they watched the man being carried by a stretcher. He was pale, but at least he was still breathing.

"Even if he does, I didn"t appear as the Trespa.s.ser," Vincent explained, "I appeared as Vincent Wong."

"When you jumped off the building earlier, you acted as if you knew that balcony was there," Arnya asked as she wheeled away, "how?"

"I memorized practically every part of London," Vincent explained. He noticed Arnya"s look of disbelief and a wry smile appeared on Vincent"s face, "I don"t just run around looking for people to beat up, each trip I try to memorise every inch of land I cover. Every crook, every window every power line. That"s how I can run around London freely, once I am certain I know an area I can then a.n.a.lyse the fastest way to get to a destination. It"s the same in fights, once I know an opponent, I can guess what their going to do next."

"Is that what you did when we first met?" Arnya remembered when they first met, she swung her gun at him and he caught it as if he knew she was going to do something, "But we didn"t even know each other."

"That was more of a guess," Vincent scratched his head, "even I don"t know what happened. It was, how do I explain it? A feeling, I felt what you were going to do before hand."

"A feeling?" Arnya thought oddly, "A guess? More like a prediction."

"Say," Vincent"s voice snapped Arnya out of her thoughts.

"I"ve been doing that a lot have I?" Vincent thought amused before talking, "so what was that back there?"

"I diluted my blood throughout the potion and controlled the potion slightly, just enough so that I can make him swallow it," Vincent nodded.

Arnya looked at the rising sun in the distance and glanced at Vincent, "What time do we have to leave?"

"Eleven, why?" Vincent looked over the dark city being illuminated by the sun.

"Have you packed?" Vincent froze before racing off.

...

Foot steps came from behind Sister An as she swept the footpaths to the orphanage in the morning.

"Annie," Sister An dropped the broom in her hand and drew her wand. She spun around and pointed it directly at a s.h.a.ggy black-haired man.

"Why did you show up here, Sirius?" she asked dangerously as she approached the man.

"To see you, it"s been years hasn"t it?" the man had maniacal smile on his face as he chuckled like a madman.

A flash of blue light shot straight out of Sister An"s wand and blasted Sirius backwards. He landed flat on his back as he continued to laugh, despite this, Sister An had a neutral cold expression on her face.

"Give me one good reason, why I shouldn"t kill you now?" Sister An asked dangerously as a sword appeared in her right hand, she held it right up against his throat, "Why did you betray Lily? Why did you kill Peter? My best friend, my brother?!"

"Peter is alive."

Sister An felt the whole world around her shatter as her face turned blank, "You"re lying, you killed him, you blew him up! All he left behind was—"

"A finger, yes I know," Sirius coughed out blood, "heck of a blow you gave me there."

"Where is he then?" Sister An asked coldly.

"Did I mention that James, Peter and I were unregistered Animagus?" Sirius asked with an uneasy look on his face. He started sweating as he looked at the extremely dark look on Sister An"s face, "Peter is a pet rat to some family called the Weasley"s!"

Just when Sirius felt like she really was going to cut his head off, Sister An withdrew her sword silently. She looked thoughtful as she thought of the Rat from earlier on.

"Did Lily know of you transformations?" she asked coldly.

"James perhaps, us no," Sirius coughed, "James, Lupin, Peter and I decided that it was best for that secret to remain within us four friends. We don"t want trouble with the Ministry."

"This was meant for Lupin wasn"t it?" she asked, her tone slightly softer. It was then hardened, "But why are you looking for him?"

"To kill him," Sirius felt the cold metal blade on his neck again and chuckled sadly.

"Wait, why would he tell me this? No, why would Peter stay in hiding, could he-" Sister An thought looking at the somewhat depressing aura around Sirius. Her face turned pale, and her hand started to shake, "No, no, he wouldn"t."

"Who betrayed Lily that night?" she asked shakingly, making Sirius look at her with an apologetic expression. She bit her lip, "But if that"s true then how?"

"I transferred the rights to him at the last second because I thought he was the better choice," Sirius said. Sister An let her hand drop down to her sides, "so it was also my fault as well. That fact doesn"t change, I killed James and Lily that night."

"No, why, Peter, why?" Sister An fell silent. She and Sirius stood at the front of the orphanage for a long time.

"I"m going to Hogwarts to catch him," Sirius muttered causing Sister An to look up in surprise, "I heard Lupin"s teaching there this year, it"ll be like an old friends reunion."

Sister An stayed silent. Sirius could see her struggle in between believing him or just outright killing him right there and sighed. He pulled out a two pieces of paper and handed one to her.

"You remember this?" he asked.

"Linked paper," she muttered as she took one, "comes in pairs, what happens to one happens to the other too. If I remember correctly, you guys used this to warn each other."

"If I find Peter, I"ll let you know."

SNAP!

Sister An was left standing there, clutching onto the piece of paper. She looked at the spot where Sirius had been just seconds before.

"I could have killed him," she said under her breath, "Peter can"t be alive, right? So do I believe him?"

She took a deep breath before picking up her broom to sweep again, this time with a little more force then usual.

((...AUTHORS NOTE...))//

Someone pointed out to me that Vincent seemed a little too good for no reason which I agree, but I was planning on adding some backstory at some point to explain this, which I will expand more in later chapters. The information given so far is to just make questions, who, what where and why. I don"t think I"ll put everything in this book as it"ll seem a bit forced so maybe some parts.

I"ll be completely honest and say that I"m actually not very happy about this chapter. It was hard to make one chapter over any one thing so I kind of bunched some stuff together as seen with the text switching from Snape"s new training to why Vincent is how he is then right to Sister An meeting Sirius. It honestly felt very choppy. I didn"t want to put them in separate chapters since I didn"t want each chapter to go on for so long without harming the progression of the story. I decided to post it up anyway to see if anyone could put any tips on how to better pan chapters for future ones and to see what it is I did good or not.

I actually like criticism if it actually points out what I could have done better, not like I"ll go back and change it or anything, but to help me avoid similar mistakes later on.
