The one-sided beating of Yamasteh stopped."Xexe. Sorry for the trouble." Nisha grinned. He was helplessly sprawled on the ground, with only 6% of his HP left, saved in the nick of time from the tentacles of death.
"You...! How did you manage to enter the city? I"ve locked it down!" RockSalt"s expression soured as he surveyed the six characters standing on top of the main gate.
"Eh? You did not receive a notification?" It was not Nisha"s trainer who answered, instead it was a green-skinned Orc garbed with brown-colored spiky armor. He was holding a yellow banner, with an image of a golden gauntlet, which fluttered with the wind.
[Was.h.i.+ngtonBusy, Level 73, Gold II Orc Berserker, Member of the Guild, t.i.tans.]
RockSalt finally understood how these six uninvited guests managed to get in. He immediately checked the unattended notification displayed on his screen.
[The Guild, t.i.tans has declared a war against Stone Troopers. Alistor City is now under siege, defend your turf.]
"Sc.u.mbags! How dare you pick a fight against a measly guild like mine!" RockSalt seethed in anger.
Although there were just six representatives, excluding Yamasteh, this group was more than enough to turn the city upside-down.
"Skirmishes are normal occurrences among guilds, but recruiting their members is a different story." The man with a greatsword chuckled as he gestured the Elf Cleric to restore Yamasteh"s health.
[AlmondMeek, Level 74, Gold I Elf Cleric, Member of the Guild, t.i.tans.]
A series of white lights engulfed Yamasteh, restoring his HP in huge chunks. Nisha immediately retreated from RockSalt"s range. Surprisingly, the latter did not do anything to stop him.
"I"m sorry, Master Lidar. I"ve brought shame to our guild." Nisha immediately fell on his knees, bowing before the leader of the group.
"No worries. Get up, Yamasteh. We"ll begin the group"s training now." Lidar responded with an interesting look.
"I"m afraid that I can"t leave this city yet, Master. I must finish what I had started, and may I ask you please not to get involved with the mess that I had myself tangled in." Nisha responded with the utmost respect.
"Haha! You"re an interesting child, Yamasteh. Who said about leaving this city? We"ll train the group here! However, as a consequence of your selfish decisions, you"ll be barred from partic.i.p.ating in this activity. Everyone move to your positions!" Lidar directed.
"I understand." Nisha tightened his fist. He really wanted a rematch with RockSalt.

The remaining five figures immediately darted from their positions, encircling the Guild Leader of Stone Troopers.
RockSalt gritted his teeth. The five players" gazes were playful.
"So the rest of you have been observing the fight for quite some time already, huh? I"m just trying my luck, Lidar. You"ve got an interesting student, after all! Haha! I may not be a match against your master, kids, but are you really sure that five hatchlings like your group could take me on?" The numerous tentacles kept on circling RockSalt, waiting for any of the five to make the first move.
"Who said about a five versus one?" Lidar mocked. "Tyler moved to the eastern gate, Wash, you head north, Sunset to the west, Almond and Darwin, the two of you will stay here."
"Haha! You"re indeed as arrogant as they say. One of the "Undefeated Lords," Lidar!" RockSalt roared in laughter, expressing his amus.e.m.e.nt. "So that kid inherited your trait!" He pointed towards Yamasteh. "I surmise that this will be your next batch of elites, and that kid will be the next guild master, right?"
"The weak may ask, but they"ll never get an answer." Lidar coldly replied.
"Fvck that saying!" RockSalt was p.i.s.sed off! He once again received this quote as an answer to his question. "You"re indeed, that boy"s teacher! I"ll kill these two first. Then I"ll finish off that lousy brawler of yours!"
Boom!
An explosion suddenly swallowed RockSalt. A mushroom-shaped smoke billowed from his location.
"You"re a noisy one." A dwarf draped in blue cloak snorted.
[DarwinSniper, Level 73, Gold III Dwarf Bomber, Member of the Guild, t.i.tans.]
The smoke slowly dissipated, revealing an unharmed RockSalt, s.h.i.+elded by a compact of tentacles in the shape of a buckler. "All your students are nasty! I can"t wait to kill them all!" He grinned.
Attack!
Numerous tentacles slashed out toward Darwin and Almond, but they did not panic. Meanwhile, Lidar ignored RockSalt"s taunt as he issued another set of orders.
"Darwin, you"re not allowed to miss a shot. Even if your target blocks it, make sure it hits his defenses. Almond, make sure that RockSalt won"t die. Keep his health at 1% always. Let your training begin!" Lidar crossed his arms as he watched his students perform their roles.
"You b.a.s.t.a.r.ds! How dare you look down on me! I"m the Guild Leader of Stone Troopers!" RockSalt exploded in anger. The number of tentacles increased by the pa.s.sing seconds.
However, RockSalt was not able to unleash all of the tentacles, keeping at least 50 units to guard him against Lidar and the ongoing bombs released by Darwin. As a consequence, he was not able to land an attack against the nimble dwarf and elf.
The two students of Lidar glanced at each other after getting a feel of the situation. Warm-up is over.
Elemental Test!
(Cla.s.s Active Skill: Elemental Test) - Buffs target"s attack with all elements. After hitting its mark, users will be able to determine the elemental bane of their targets. Up to three attacks only. 1-Hour Cooldown Period.
Almond"s branch-like staff released a rainbow-colored beam, buffing Darwin. Colorful bangles appeared in the latter"s small hands.
"Try blocking this, you ugly octopus." Darwin grinned as his bronze cannon charged before releasing a spiked-bomb with chains attached on its end.
Morning Star!
(Cla.s.s Active Skill: Morning Star) - Releases a chained bomb that deals 200 True Damage. After exploding, a chain will be attached to the target, restraining its movements for the next 5 seconds.
Boom!
The whirling bomb found its mark, and RockSalt had indeed blocked it with his tentacles. However, his HP still decreased from 96.5% to 86% despite his defense. The blockage formed by his tentacles dropped three units of these lifeforms, burnt into crisps, and devoid of life.
RockSalt started to panic, finding himself unable to control his tentacles, due to the shackling chains. He immediately sent a message to his guild chat.
[Where the fvck are you? All members must proceed to the Main Gate, south of Alistor. NOW!!!] However, he did not receive any reply. While retreating and blocking the ongoing onslaught of Darwin, he checked his guildmates" statuses.
All were dead.
Even his three vice-guild leaders, who were respectively stationed in the other three exit points, were killed.
...
An Elf a.s.sa.s.sin armed with two green-edged daggers stood before the corpses of Predator and Stone Troopers" guild members. Sprawled on the floor was a Level 50 Human Berserker named StoneRight; he was one of the vice guild leaders of Stone Troopers, stationed in the eastern exit. His slayer was no other than TylerSwift.
[TylerSwift, Level 75, Gold II Elf a.s.sa.s.sin. Member of the Guild, t.i.tans.]
Similar situations could be seen in the northern and western gates, under the care of Wash and Sunset, respectively. The guild leaders of Stone Troopers stationed there were also killed, IllegalGraveller in the northern entrance, a Level 56 Human Sorcerer, and HappyPebble, a Level 54 Human Bomber in the western exit.
[Tripod Sunset, Level 81, Dark Gold IV Human Ranger. Member of the Guild, t.i.tans.]
...
"Fvck! Haha. It looks like that "t.i.tans" is really serious in taking away Alistor City from my clutches. Numerous guilds had already tried invading this place, but they had never succeeded. However, the fact that you had stationed your members on each exit point means that you know where the real trouble will come from." RockSalt grinned as a red crystal materialized in his hand.
Brrruukkkk! The earth rumbled as RockSalt smashed the shard.
"Rise Guardians of Alistor! Annihilate these b.a.s.t.a.r.ds and protect the city you have sworn your allegiance with!" RockSalt was like a maniac as he growled with hysterical laughs.
The gates in each entry points shook before crumbling. One by one, the boulders from these destroyed structures slowly rearranged themselves, forming four golems in total, all of which were at least five times bigger than the size of average players.
