Chapter 2045: Elder Tianji
One of the reasons why Su Mo had taken in An Jian was because he needed An Jian to find out where Gongcheng Taihao was.
After all, Gongcheng Taihao wasn’t in Sky Tyrant Tribe and he might not come back soon. Su Mo could not wait for him forever.
As such, the Dark Shadow Tribe was a good helping hand for Su Mo.
An Jian was the top talent in Dark Shadow Tribe, whose strength was almost equivalent to an Empty G.o.d’s. He was a top figure in the Dark Shadow Tribe and he could use the strength of the Dark Shadow Tribe.
He believed that a skinny camel was stronger than a horse. Although the Dark Shadow Tribe no longer had the glory of the ancient times, its root power was something other ordinary tribes could not compare to.
Another reason why Su Mo had taken in An Jian was for the Firmament Sect.
For Firmament Sect to rise to power, they would be the enemy of many strong superpowers and tribes, including the Sorcerer Tribe and True Demons Tribe.
The Dark Shadow Tribe would be a strong ally for Firmament Sect in facing future challenges.
In the near future, all galaxies, and the four great regions, would be dominated by Firmament Sect.
This was Su Mo’s dream and his goal.
“Gongcheng Taihao?”
An Jian was instantly surprised and he asked curiously, “Why are you looking for Gongcheng Taihao?”
“This is my own business, just do as I ask!” Su Mo shook his head, not explaining further.
“Alright then. How do I contact you in the future?” An Jian shook his head helplessly and asked.
“I left a Mental Stigma on your Fighting Soul. We can contact through that!” Su Mo answered.
“Mm!” An Jian nodded.
“Another thing. I have another request of finding a lady. Her name is Di Lanxi!” Su Mo sighed. He raised his arm and chaotic energy flowed out of his palm.
Rolls of chaotic energy transformed into the figure of a lady, Xi’er.
Su Mo was worried about Xi’er. However, the universe was vast and he really couldn’t find her.
He was famous through Infinite Region but Xi’er had not returned and hence, Su Mo guessed that Xi’er had left Infinite Region.
As such, Su Mo ordered An Jian to use the strength of the Dark Shadow Tribe to find out where Xi’er was.
“Alright!” An Jian nodded as he memorized Xi’er’s appearance.
With that, Su Mo gave a mental thought and brought An Jian out of the Seven-colored Glazed PaG.o.da.
“Go! I will wait for your good news!” Su Mo retrieved the Seven-colored Glazed PaG.o.da and waved his hand dismissively.
An Jian nodded. Without speaking further, his body flashed and he left the cave, heading back to the Dark Shadow Tribe.
Su Mo did not delay either as his body flashed and he left the cave as well.
He carefully inquired for information on the star, finding out where the King Sage Hall of Dark Region was.
Then, he headed towards King Sage Hall of Dark Region.
…
A small island was in the middle of a crystal-blue lake.
This lake was about a kilometer wide and the lake water was calm and clear.
Rolls of Spiritual Qi floated above the lake like a layer of haze.
In the middle of the lake, a small island was filled with a dense forest.
A ten thousand foot tall paG.o.da was erected on one of the mountains in the forest.
The paG.o.da had a total of nine floors and it was made out of green stone, giving it an ancient vibe.
Shoosh shoos.h.!.+
Light flashed through the sky as two figures landed in front of the large gates of the paG.o.da.
These two men were a middle-aged man in a green robe and a skinny elder in a grey s.h.i.+rt.
The two’s bodies appeared illusionary, as though they could be seen through. At a glance, one could tell that they were Dark Shadow Tribe members.
The green-robed, middle-aged man was Elder An Yuan of the Dark Shadow Tribe.
“Tribe Leader, we have reached!” Elder An Yuan stared at the green paG.o.da and lightly informed the elder beside him.
The elder was the tribe leader of the Dark Shadow Tribe.
“Mm!”
The skinny elder nodded before he cupped his fists toward the green paG.o.da and shouted, “Senior Tian Ji, it is Tribe Leader An Shang of the Dark Shadow Tribe requesting to enter!”
The elder respectfully informed him. There was a top expert in the paG.o.da.
Silence answered the elder and nothing happened.
Yet, An Shang and An Yuan were not anxious and they patiently waited.
“What floor?”
A long while later, an old voice echoed from the paG.o.da.
This voice was old and deep, as though it had pa.s.sed the trials of numerous years.
“The third floor!” An Shang said in a serious tone. Every floor required a different price. The higher the floor, the higher the price to be paid. For him, the third floor was enough.
The moment An Shang answered, the large doors of the green paG.o.da creaked open slowly.
An Shang and An Yuan immediately strode into the green paG.o.da.
With that, the large doors of the green paG.o.da shut again.
…
On the third floor of the green paG.o.da.
The area wasn’t big and it was about a thousand feet wide. The air in the s.p.a.ce was cold and calm and it didn’t seem that anyone was in there.
In all four corners of the paG.o.da walls, long scribbles of ancient writings were engraved.
In the middle of the floor was a white-haired elder. He sat with his eyes shut tightly on a futon.
This elder wore a white robe and had pale white hair and a beard that was so long, it reached the floor.
His hair was so long, it covered half his face such that others could not see his appearance.
Through the long, white hair, one could see deep wrinkles etched in the elder’s face, a testament to his age.
“Senior Tianji!”
An Shang and An Yuan cupped their fists in front of the elder and greeted him respectfully.
Although both of them were Empty G.o.ds, they were considered ordinary beings in front of the elder.
Elder Tianji was a famous person in the four regions.
Granted, his name was only famous among the Empty G.o.ds and a few Martial Sages. Low-ranked martial artists did not have the opportunity to see him.
Elder Tianji could calculate fates and destinies and he knew everything there was to know.
In this whole universe, 99% of things could not escape Elder Tianji.
No one knew the elder’s cultivation and no one tried to figure it out.
Some said that the elder was a Rank 2 Empty G.o.d while others said that he was a Rank 4 Empty G.o.d.
Yet, there was no way to tell his actual rank.
“Speak. What is it?” Elder Tianji lightly asked without opening his eyes.
“We would like Elder Tianji to find out where someone is!” An Shang answered in a low voice.
“Who is it?”
“This man is called Su Mo, he is a Middle Rank Martial Sage!” An Shang informed. He and An Yuan were there to find out where Su Mo was and hence save An Jian.
An Jian was the future of the Dark Shadow Tribe and he had to be rescued.
An Shang believed that with the elder’s capabilities, finding Su Mo wouldn’t be a problem.
As long as they could find where Su Mo was, they would personally kill Su Mo.
