After riding for an hour I reached Riley"s and HaiLoong had called that I would be there to check fr anything unusual on my bike. I removed the food and my spare clothing and the handheld Sentry began to swing into action. The Sentry looked like it"s searching for any metal and my bike is sure made from metal, fool...there"s no need to use a metal detector to scan my metal parts FOR f.u.c.k"S SAKE...! Riley seemed to read my mind and told me this Sentry was redesigned to detect bugs and as soon as he had spoken, a high tone pitch was heard... He flipped the area again and it sounded once more.
"Someone planted a bug in your headlamp. When was the last time you had it changed?"
MY G.o.d...! THAT WAS YEARS AGO...! "I changed it some years back when I fitted it with a HID lamp. That was all..." I replied as he began to tinker around with his mult.i.tool and removed the lamp cover and the HID lamp before he finally found the bug right inside the wiring underneath that shiny, reflective thingy. It took almost 25 minutes to remove it and placed everything back.
Next he made another sweep and this time he found another bug. The Sentry gave out a shrill shrieking alarm as if it had struck gold...! This time it was on the inside of the cap of my petrol tank...!! WHO THE f.u.c.k PLANTED IT??
Riley deftly removed the bug from the cap and places it beside the first on he had discovered. Then he made another sweep and the Sentry shrieked once more, this time underneath the cha.s.sis where the exhaust was joined.
He places the bike on a raised block and peered underneath. It must be inside the d.a.m.n exhaust and reconfirmed using the Sentry, at at low sensitivity, it was confirmed it was inside the exhaust and the person who did that have to actually removed the two nuts underneath it, unhooked he whole exhaust system from he frame and plant it inside and replaces the whole thing.
It would take an hour to do so, just to make it undetectable. Riley was basically under the Phantom and due to my hard riding, he wore thick gloves to hold on to the underside of the engine and the exhaust. After he took down the exhaust, he gave a little shake and it came out near the elbow of the exhaust.
He soon fixed it up and scanned it once more. After 30 minutes or so and discovered no other bugs, he waved me off.
"No worries missus, HaiLoong had settled it through interbank transfer. All has been taken care of right now. Be careful if you do send your bike for any kind of EO change even, ok? Bring it here, or best get a secondary bike. I"ve got Cafe bikes if you wanna choose. Non worries, any friend of HaiLoong is a friend of mine."
"Your Phantom Shadow is clean right now. Talk to HaiLoong if you need a secondary bike. In your business, it would be great to have 2 to 3 bikes where you could hold up somewhere and make a switch. No one would know especially if you happen to park them at public places or even hard to reach places like a storage s.p.a.ce."
He annunciate the last two words to make it clear for me that I should hold up another bike in a storage s.p.a.ce. This gives me an idea and I places all my stuffs in the saddle bag and rode on the opposite direction where I come from.
"WHO AND HOW THEY PLANT THOSE BUGS ON MY BIKE...!!!" I screamed outwardly as I rode towards the highway. I"ve never sent my bike for service right after I had changed the HID lamp. All maintenance was made by me, the air filter, the EO, brake oil and GO as well... I never let anyone touch my bike except for the seller that had sold me and he was a human...!
The thing is I don"t even pickup the Weres or a Night Crawler on my bike at all... Or was it a human behind all these? I bought this bike even before I took my profession as a Vamp Contract Killer. So no one knows at all...
I received 2 SMS on my mobile. I flipped it put and saw one from HaiLoong. It just read "3 bugs found. Be careful. Luv U!" while another said "Delivery enroute. Reaching by 430pm." I looked at the time and find that it was already 330 pm. "Arrgghh.... f.u.c.k...! My freezer is on the way and I"m still far away from Coal Mountain...! Better be hitting the speed limits. Pray I"m not stopped by any state trooper now."
I kept my phone, and throttled my bike past 140km/h as I pa.s.sed a few interstate and got home just as the delivery man had gotten out and was pushing a huge carton box with his a.s.sistant in the driveway. I waved at them and I opened up my door and welcomed my new freezer for my girls.
They told me since this was brand new and had been shaken during travel, it would be advised not to turn it on for the next 8 hours. When they left, I switched it on anyway and put the temperature towards "1" indicator by the k.n.o.b.
There was a wire cage rack inside the freezer and it could easily store wine that won"t freeze over and the insides were all shiny and all their foams and blue adhesive stickers to hold the rack in place had been removed.
In case the weather gets too hot outside, I could curl up inside and sleep to make myself cool. Hahahahaha. That"s what a chest freezer is meant to be, right? To keep yourself cool in the summer?
The freezer does not have those funny plasticky smell whatsoever and it hummed gently. I walked over to my office and opened the door. I picked up my kunai and strap it over my left thigh and my P320 with its tactical holster on my right.

I checked the magazine before I pulled the slide and had a round chambered. 2 more magazines fully loaded with 15+1 rounds were slapped next to it. I took my licenses, both issued in Georgia for the PTT and PTC and slid it into my ID holder and pulled the lanyard over my neck.
In peacetime, if you shouldered a weapon in public openly, you need these permit on you. Just flashing the permits and you"re free to go. Yeah...just like that...especially in a land filled with Weres and Vamps.
I"m not going out far, just wanna get somethings nice for Beast and Spotty tonight as well to stock the freezer. I took out the envelope and a mucked in a few bills of 50s while the rest would be deposited into my bank later in town.
I went to my bike and took my chops and drums and place it on the counter top and place a food cover on it. Well, I"m going to entertain myself with that later while my two guys would have theirs afterwards.
