Pt 0314:36

(A mix of heavy breathing and panting)Hmm...huhh...there"s nothing to see in the mirror for me. Not anymore,- I mumbled to myself. There is a concept or rather disorder about these judgements and actions we are responsible for. It"s actually a fascinating yet challenging state of mental health where one"s perception gets clouded as if they are looking through a gla.s.s which is upside down. Frank used to say I fall under that. Which he thought, was quite impressive in its own way. I looked over his injured leg to make something out and think of some quick way to stop the bleeding. The cuts were clean and deep but there were too many. There was a huge numbers of shards inside the wound. My idea of amputation was becoming pretty obvious. "Okay....okay. Kid, you are in for another beating after I take care of this mess in your leg."- My thoughts came out of my mouth again. "But first..."- An envelope was inside his clothing. As soon as I confiscated that gem the barkeep with his flashy 42 inch chest showed up.

-Feels like I"m about to be a part of another act I didn"t sign up for.

-What the h.e.l.l!! Wasn"t there a fight downstairs? Looked pretty serious back then.

-The hit you took over the chin didn"t actually affect your brain, did it? Cause yeah; you, actually started the chaos.

-And like why aren"t you in cuts and bruises?? They didn"t look like civil types to fall under your charms or n.o.ble speeches.

-(Laughs)Maybe my stats are good. But what about you? Please tell me you didn"t kill him.

-Scared about losing your job big guy? Good for you I"m..

-Alright, I get it. Now...we need to get him to a clinic or something. Or that leg might lose it"s place and job.

-Yeah? So...(pointing at him)could you like put those muscles to work hey?

-I got him. You knocked him out good. But do me favour and pick those sandals for me, will you?

-Huh?! G.o.d! I am so killing that kid after I finish talking to him.

-Well, are you?

-I don"t know for G.o.d"s sake...that"s why said I would talk to him first.

Humans or rather every living being came into this world with their eyes closed having no clue of what the purpose of their existence was. For us, we blindly follow whoever we can cling onto. The building which was supposed to be a health care centre looked like an ancient refuge.

15:11-Clinic

-...

-So what"s with the registration? We need some name to admit the patient right?

-(Sighs) I will sign him up as one of our boys here. Although you need to take it from there.

-Yeah. That could work; thank you.

-You can thank me by paying your tab at the bar.

-Here I was about to crown you as somewhat...gentleman.

-Thanks madam inspector but you know...job turns people into man or woman. But please, I do look forward to seeing you again.

-I"m sure you do.

-Well I was about to complement your beautiful face like a gentleman does, but that chin needs serious attention first.

-...

-Here inspector! If there"s any need you can call this.

-Please this is your idea of asking a girl to bar? At least give me your number.

-It won"t be any better. I don"t use my phone anymore. Rest a.s.sured this is as close as a personal phone.

-Wow that"s...uh...new. Okay. I will contact you. Will I be needing anything else here? What did the receptionist say?

-No, as long as he stays as an employee of the bar. But you need to come up with a story for yourself. I will be heading back now.

After he left, the whole thing my situation kicked me in the head again. The surroundings kinda started to push me into thinking that I wasn"t familiar enough to get by here. But to fuel my incompetence a doctor threw the right question into the table.

-Excuse me but are you with the bar employee?

-Huh yes. Yes Mam.

-We"ve looked over him and made necessary arrangements.

-I see; could you tell me about his leg? Is there by chance a need for amputation?

-No. Although it would take some time to get back into the job again.

-Okay. Hmm, right! Thanks Mam for your time. Can you give me any info on when the operation is going to happen?

-Maybe in about one hour. I have heard about the accident at bar from Jerry. We"ve supplied him with some anaesthesia and covered up the wound for now. You may talk to him now but be quick.

-Alright. Thanks again Mam.

I got the room he was stationed at. Upon entering the room I got the idea of what a hospital in need actually looks like. After looking around for a good five minutes I finally saw him. But he wasn"t a bit moved as if he noticed me from the very moment I got into this room. It felt like a dead man staring at me when I looked closely at him. There was a little chair beside his bed. I moved towards him to play my role.
