Isa leaned forwards towards the boy, her mouth close to his ear. "If I say no right now, it will be a disrespect for you! Also, these people will kill me. Just play along!" She whispered in the boy"s ear.
Her breath on his ear made the boy s.h.i.+ver, while the boy"s perfume captivated the girl"s senses.
"Ohk!" Jacob smiled recovering his senses, taking the girl"s hand in his hand. "Thank you!" He kissed her hand, like a gentleman and grinned.
"Woohoooo!!!!!" The crowd cheered, looking at the two. "She said yes!!!"
Isa pursed her lips looking at her hand, while Jacob stood up on his feet. "Thank you everybody for helping me convince my girl!" Jacob looked happily at the people, who were clapping for them.
Soon everybody congratulated them and settled down back in their seats.
"Hahaha!!! That was one h.e.l.l of an unexpected proposal!" Jacob chuckled, looking at Isa, sitting on his seat.
"Umm...Yeah! For a second, you appeared to be very serious about it!" Isa munched the dishes, not looking at the boy.
"Haha! Infact I thought the same too. When you said yes, I was kind of taken aback!" Jacob took deap breaths, eating from his plate. He was also not looking at the girl.
Their heads were down, and they both were talking to each other, without looking at each other"s blus.h.i.+ng face.
"Offcourse, nothing like that can ever happen between us!" Isa munched nervousely and spoke, looking constantly at her plate.
"Ahh! Offcourse! Never ever!!" He replied back, looking down at his hands.
They both sipped their wines in nervouseness, not talking much to each other now.
