30 minutes later.....
Jacob came downstairs from his room, dressed in a casual pair of blue jeans and green t-s.h.i.+rt. He sat on the dinning table and switched on the television screen, to avoid feeling lonely. He switched to the business news channel and once again the news of his father"s company was in the headlines. All sorts of discussions and a.s.sumptions were being made by a.n.a.lysts.
"The investors are demanding back there shares from the company as the market reputation has fallen down tremendously. Jacob Miller, being the only heir of the company has not yet entered the premises. The company is now on a destructive path, with their liabilities towards their investors and employees increasing manyfolds."
Jacob switched off the television, leaving the food half uneaten. He rushed back to his room upstairs and slammed the door roughly. He lied down flat on his bed, looking at his phone"s screen- saver.
"I miss you dad! What do I do? How will I handle everything all by myself? I don"t even know how to handle a company! Everybody is out their to judge me! Waiting for me to make just one mistake! I can not do these!!!!"
He looked at his father"s image for a few seconds and then quickly picked up his jacket and his car keys. He walked towards the parking area, again with the same detemination in his mind. He pulled out a black colored Maybach and drove out of the house. Speeding towards the busiest roads of the city, his mind was filled with anger and sorrow.
"This time, n.o.body can stop me!"
He halted his car at the corner of, the one of the busiest street of the city. The cars were moving to and fro at great speed. People were busy driving, rapidly reaching at their office timings.
He got off his car rapidly and quickly started walking on the foot-path. After some distance, he finally stopped and stood at the edge of the foot-path. With s.h.i.+vering legs, he started walking towards the road, not looking left or right, amidst the speeding cars.
He closed his eyes, praying somebody would soon end his miseries! He slowly walked towards the centre of the road with his eyes still closed.
