"Why did you think like that Isa?" Jacob frowned, surprised at the girl"s words.
"Because you hated me, back then!" Isa shrugged as if stating the obvious.
"Hmm! I hated you, because you only wished me good. You were trying to save my life, which actually deep down in my heart, made me feel good about you! So I never exactly hated you, I just needed to come to terms with myself. My anger was never for you, but for my life!" Jacob sat down againon the bed, looking at the wall ahead of him blankly.
"You are a very good guy Jacob! You will get whatever you deserve! I promise!" Isa smiled looking at the boy.
Jacob smiled back at her. Only Isa could make a person feel more confident instantly. There was something about the girl, which Jacob was liking even more. She knew how to spread happiness around her. She was not a fake person. She never tried to be somebody that she was not, irrespective of what the other person would think about it! There was no filter and no pretence in the girl. "What kind of girl are you Isa?"
"Huh?" Isa looked at the boy in confusion. "What do you mean?"
"I mean, I have never come across a girl like you. You are fun loving, yet extremely sensitive to a person"s emotions. How are you like this?" Jacob looked at the girl.
Isa looked at Jacob with raised eye brows. "I ...I don"t know! I guess this is who I am, and would not want to change!" Isa smiled.
"I really hope n.o.body breaks your heart, to change you! I just hope all the happiness comes your way. Whatever happens, just never ever change yourself! Ok?" Jacob held out his palm, as if asking for a promise.
"Well, I don"t know, what I have in my life ahead. But I feel definitely try my best!" Isa placed her hand on his palm and Jacob held it tightly.
"Ok! Here is the medicine. I will go out of the room and you just apply it on your wound and let me know, if it is too much. I will have my family doctor check on it. Ok?" Jacob patted the girl"s head.
"Ok! Thank you!" Isa smiled, while Jacob once again stepped out of the room, closing the room behind him.
He stood outside the room, thinking about his sudden feelings for the girl. What is wrong with me? Am I actually getting attracted to the girl, because she is nice and beautiful, or, is it something else?
He then thought about Hanna and his heart ached. He had always loved her, so how could he even fall for Isa?
