The vast cafeteria was full of students, munching and chit-chatting with each other. As soon as Isa entered with Jacob, everybody"s stares dropped on them and the cafeteria grew much quiter. The loud chit- chats turned into hushed voices, directed towards them.
"Why do people always stare at us?" Isa frowned, whispering to Jacob. She waved a few h.e.l.los to some of her college-mates.
"Well, the girls must be looking at me and the guys must be looking at you!" Jacob chuckled, walking besides Isa.
Isa chuckled back, walking towards the a large fancy counter. "So what do you want to eat!" The girl was stumbling with every person on her way, making Jacob hold her waist for a few seconds. By now, he was used to her clumsiness in certain actions, always dropping things everywhere and stumbling with random things.
"You tell me! It is my treat!" Jacob came forward towards the counter, looking at the girl.
"No! Its my treat today. Yours will be after your successful investors meet!" Isa smiled pus.h.i.+ng him backwards, with his hand.
"Don"t be so confident. What if it is not that successful? I can treat you right now, just in case, I do something stupid in the meet!" Though Jacob was smiling, but it was evident from his face that he was extremely nervous about the meeting.
"I am confident! It will be successful. You are a very strong man, stronger than you think. I can see it!" Isa looked in his eyes, smiling at him.
Jacob was stunned at the girl"s words, nevertheless it did increase his confidence. "Thank you!"
"Don"t think I am saying this to boost your confidence. I just mean it, that is why I am saying it."
"Well...." Jacob did not know, how to reply to the girl.
"So!! What do you want to eat. Anyways, we have our accounts here. They do not accept cash. So get ready to treat me later!" Isa chuckled looking towards the counter.
"Alright! I think, I can have a salad without any sausages and a fresh beetroot juice!"
