I"ve always been a person who enjoyed reading. Reading is a great way to learn a new language. At a very young age, I loved the Curious George series. I read every single Curious George book that was available in my library, which had to have been at least 50 books. Then I moved on to things like Percy Jackson and Harry Potter. For some reason I also read the Hunger Games series in like 4th grade. The reason I began reading Light Novels is because at some point I really enjoyed binge watching anime. And then there was an anime where I was really antic.i.p.ating the second season but they were taking years to bring it out so I read the manga. Eventually I also read other mangas and then I discovered light novels.
Naturally I googled what the best light novels were and found series like Zeroth Maria. Pretty soon afterwards I found Novel Updates which coincidentally sounds like the website I use to watch anime, anime-update.com.

Since then I"ve probably read a few hundred different light novels whilst only being able to finish a few since most are still in progress. That being said they almost all have at least a few hundred chapters and some even a few thousand.
Light novels are by design meant to be either binge read or followed daily since once you put them on hold, you"ll never be able to remember who all those side characters were. To be honest I don"t even remember the names of the main characters most of the time.
Since light novels can have thousands of chapters, they have great rereadability since you"ve almost certainly forgot the beginning by the time you got to the end. Personally, I"m just not that kind of a person that rewatches/rereads things, but that"s more of a preference thing.
