A whiff of sweet fragrance wafted by.
When I looked up, I nearly jumped from seeing the saint so close.
Did she mean to use her miracle—or possibly magic?

"It"s amazing! There are so many s.h.i.+ps, Mercenary!"
Excitedly, Zero leaned out of the cart.
Theo followed suit.
"Awesome, isn"t it?" Theo grinned proudly as if he owned the town.
If one looked closely enough at the harbor arrayed with s.h.i.+ps, one could see many a gargantuan vessel with its sails unfurled, slos.h.i.+ng through the waves as they sailed from their docks.
The Blind Father
Belonging to Dea Ignis, the Inquisition Office of the Church, the Blind Father keeps watch over the Saint"s miracles.
"Incredible&h.e.l.lip;this is my first time seeing anything of the sort. It"s quite lovely."
The holy city of Arcadius.
The city was situated on an island at the rough center of an expansive lake.
A rope bridge stretched between the island and the sh.o.r.e.
Flanking the steps at the bridge"s destination were a pair of statues depicting tutelary deities.
It felt quite strange for there to be statues of guardian deities at the gates of a holy city.
