There was something in that moment.. The moment when he let go of me and looked away from me.. What is this feeling? It"s so weird.. He didn"t say anything for a while, and I just stood there with my eyes glued to the floor. I barely heard the music from the party, or my phone ringing. My phone"s ringing? Who could it be.."h.e.l.lo!?" I shouted. I honestly looked stupid while doing this, but I didn"t care.
"Monica! Where are you?" It was Lance.
"Uhm. I"m inside the place. Where are you?"
"Really? Where? I"m in here too! Let"s meet up somewhere!"
"Sure. I"ll be near the railing on the left side of the stage"
"Cool. I"ll see you there!"
He dropped the line, and I was.. I need another drink..
Surely there was nothing more that could happen tonight..
Lance and I finally met up. We were talking casually, with a little awkwardness every now and then. Mac didn"t seem to mind that there was something weird going on in the middle of everything. In fact, he"s acting as if nothing happened from the very beginning. It was time, however, for me to get back home. It was already pretty late in the day, well, more like a little too early to start the day. It was basically two in the morning and I have been exhausted from the party and the events beforehand.
I was just about ready to tell Lance that I wanted to leave, when someone caught his attention. Oh well. I could always just leave him a text saying that I"ll be going home and all.
Finally sobering up for good, I think, I decided to head back out. I think I can get a good cab from here. I mean, a good majority of the people in this place are taking cabs just to get home right?
"Hey!" There was a call from behind. Thinking that it wasn"t for me, I didn"t mind it and continued walking until I reached the taxi lane. There are a ton of people waiting in line just to get one.
*sigh* Guess I"ll have to wait with them. n.o.body"s looking for me anyway, and I did say that I"d be coming home late, so all"s good.

The drive home was quiet, peaceful even. At least I got home safe. I checked my phone and it was already almost four in the morning. Ugh. How"d that happen? It wasn"t even traffic. Ah well. I need to take a bath and hit the hay anyway.
Oh the hot water hitting my face feels so right. I listen to music while bathing, not caring who would hear the amazing vocals from Ronnie. Oh Ronnie.
As I was preparing for bed, my phone starts buzzing. Huh. Who"d be texting me at this hour? Unknown number?
The message read: "Hey, hope you got home safe. Sorry I wasn"t able to say goodbye. I had a good time. Goodnight. ^^"
What the frick? I replied, asking who it was, and didn"t wait for the reply. It must probably some random dude trying to play a prank on me. "Cause I don"t remember giving anyone my real number at the party.
I was just about to doze off when I heard my phone ring again. What is it this time?
Message: "The guy you met a few hours ago. ^^"
I didn"t think much of the message because my eyelids were getting too heavy and it was difficult to keep myself awake at the time, so I let it slip by and went to sleep.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I was told that waking up with a really bad headache is a sign of a hangover. What the frick. I never get hangovers.. Well, mostly because I barely go out drinking. So this is kind of a new thing for me.. Ugh.. I feel sick. Did I drink too much again? I don"t wanna get up from bed.. I check the time and I see that it"s already past ten in the morning. Huh. I didn"t sleep for very long. Phone, phone. Where are you phone? Found it.
Three messages already? That"s new.
Message: "Are you asleep now? I guess you are. Goodnight. ^^"
Message: "Heeyy. Just wanted to say good morning! ^^"
Message: "Good morning sunshine. :)"
All from the same number.. What the frick is going on here?
