He looked up, darting his eyes around "Oh, ms. Cila, how may I help you". He said and pushed me out of the way. He hurried out, then returned quickly. He was confused and not sure what he was doing. "Where did I misplaced this little b.a.s.t.a.r.d". He mumbled under his breath as he walked and stood beside his seat. "So Ms.Cila, what were you saying before". He asked, still not into his question.
"Uhm,". I looked from the impatient man, around the messy room. My eyes caught a glimpse that was between his shoes. I knew for instance that, if at all one would ever turn a place this way, that the thing he might be looking for would be as tiny as that, the little b.a.s.t.a.r.d found. I guess.
"Excuse me". I walked over to him and picked up the key. "Perhaps, this is the little b.a.s.t.a.r.d you"ve been looking for". I said meekly.
"Bless thee". He breathes heavily. " That tiny thing is the key to the storeroom! Oh, Ms. Cila you have saved the day! This is the reason I"ve been whacking my brain. He said and turned to leave." I should probably get a key holder before Mrs. Clinton would have my a.s.s busted ". He mumbled.
" Uhm". He turned back. "Before I forget, what was your question again?".
"Er," I eyed him to make sure his attention was there because I wouldn"t want to be talking to myself. " I just wanted to know if Mr. Mason was still in school". I paused and ponder on my words, it was somehow not right. "For the... Match". I added with a smile.
Mr. Walker itched his beards as he replied. " well, he came earlier... Wanted me to grant him permission to leave school early on this day? I mean he can"t just quit with no reasonable explanation, not after all the training we"ve done".
" so what did he say?". I asked not liking the tone of his voice. Steve might not be the type to disobey a teacher but right now I"m not I know the type he is anymore. Not after his angry face keeps popping up in my head. G.o.d! What have I done?
"Nothing, I gave him time to rethink his decision and he should probably be around." He ruffled through his hair in frustration as he paced back and forth.
I hurried out of the office with him still talking. I"ve seen enough of him ruffling.
