Even though the alcohol consumption by werewolves don"t make them drunk fast, but a large amount of it surely does. It was hard to remember that Dianna and Alyssa had gulped how many gla.s.ses. There were lines of big empty gla.s.ses in front of them and the bartender had called an extra a.s.sistant for his a.s.sistance just because of these two gorgeous ladies who were ordering drinks non-stop.The a.s.sistant rubbed her forehead and frustratedly said, "Should we stop giving them any drinks now?"
This was the fourth time that she had asked this same question.
"No. not now" the bartender was exhausted too.
"But why. Do you think they will pay if they are not sober?" the a.s.sistant reasoned.
"We will call their family." The bartender replied.
"Oh please. I had been standing here the whole time listening to their bull**its. I very well know that this girl, she said pointing at Alyssa is an orphan. And this girl, she said pointing at Dianna with her fingers, is a n.o.body. They don"t have money to pay for anything, alright."
The bartender felt his head throbbing. He said, "Bill them up.". the a.s.sistant smiled and proceeded t bill the total amount.
"One Manhattan please", Alyssa slurred when she asked for the refill.
When she found no one responding, then she raised her head and found no one serving her. she scrunched her eyebrows and looked towards Dianna who was happily playing with the ice cubes in her gla.s.s.
"Hey, Dee…" Alyssa slurred again.
"Yes," Dianna responded and then laughed, "You look funny Allie. You look red like a chimpanzee"s b.u.t.t…. pfft"
Just then the door of the bar opened and a man in black overcoat entered followed by another man wearing a burgundy suit.
"Wow, I didn"t know that Coral Bells can be so lively. You go enjoy yourself, I am going on the dance floor." Saying that the man in a burgundy suit headed towards the dance floor and started swaying without waiting for another response from the other man.
Grandiose was not a famous restaurant where big celebrities hung out that"s why they randomly choose this place to come. Reinhard was tired from getting all the attention and with all the socialites buzzing around him like bees. He wanted a calm evening where he can enjoy all by himself.
He glanced around and found a bar at the corner of the dance floor. He saw that there were no private booths available so he made his way to the bar.
He felt a similar smell tickling his nose. But the smell was not clean as he had smelled it earlier. It was mixed with something. He didn"t like that smell at all.
He sat on one of the stools near the bar beside Dianna.
"One regular please." He ordered.
The bartender nodded his head and began to make his order.
"Oh! Hi handsome." Dianna heard someone speak beside her with a beautiful heavy voice, she turned around and was awestruck.
"I have seen you somewhere else. But I don"t remember where." Dianna pouted and her beautiful eyes watered. If it was anyone else besides Reinhard, he would have melted then and there with how alluring her expressions were.
Reinhard ignored her and started drinking his beer.
Getting no response from him and failing to remember when she had seen him, Dianna turned to her left and said, "Allie do you remember him?"
Allyssa"s concentration was torn from her gla.s.s and the cherry that was in it.
She looked towards Dianna and blinked her beautiful eyes.
"Do you know how to take this cherry out from the gla.s.s. The cherry is crying." Alyssa slurred and pointed at the cherry in front of her.
Reinhard heard a sweet voice answering that girl beside him and tried to look at the source of the voice.
Dianna looked at the cherry submerged in the remaining liquid in the gla.s.s. She scooted near Alyssa unknowingly completely covering Alyssa from his vision.
"Yes. What should we do?" Dianna panicked. "The cherry is drowning in the liquid" Dianna added.
"Pfft. That is not liquid dumbo Dee. That"s his tears." Alyssa corrected Dianna.
Dianna glanced around her to find someone who can save the cherry. Her eyes landed on a handsome man sitting beside her, looking at their direction.
"Will you help us save the cherry?" Dianna"s eyes reddened. Alyssa bent a little to see the savior of the cherry.
"Will you save him?" Alyssa questioned him.
After seeing who the owner of the voice was, Reinhard felt disgusted for getting attracted by a woman like her who is a gold digger.
He sternly said, "No."
Alyssa"s and Dianna"s eyes reddened and tears fell from Alyssa"s eyes.
Seeing Alyssa cry, something pierced Reinhard"s chest. He felt suffocated. He loosened his tie and started drinking his beer ignoring them.
Pearls of tears rolled down from Alyssa"s eyes. Reinhard couldn"t take it anymore. So, he got up from his seat and turned the gla.s.s upside down dropping the cherry on the counter.
Alyssa and Dianna focused on the cherry, their eyes smiling. Alyssa raised her head and gave a sweet smile to Reinhard. She stood up from her place and hugged Reinhard.
That hug was quick completely unexpected, catching Reinhard off guard. Alyssa tightened her grip on Reinhard and whispered "Thank you" near his ears. Her breath tickled his ears sending an unknown sensation in his stomach.
Unknowingly his grip around Alyssa tightened too. He felt warm. He buried his head on the crook of Alyssa"s neck and inhaled her enchanting smell. He felt an unfamiliar emotion coursing in his body. He felt a weird itch in his heart and in his stomach.
Her body was a perfect fit in his arms. He really wanted to hold her like that for eternity. Engaging on her alluring smell and feeling warm.
"You remember she is somebody else"s lover. Don"t you?" A harsh familiar voice shattered his dreams in a second. Reinhard raised her head from the crook of her neck and looked at the source of the voice. After coming back, in reality, he looked at the person in front of him in his arms. He instantly felt disgusted and pushed Alyssa away from himself harshly. Alyssa stumbled and fell on the floor. She looked at Reinhard in confusion. But before she can ask anything, Reinhard turned around and walked out of the door.
