(Seraphina"s POV)After calming down, I made my way to my family house to see granny, totally pushing "get dad a gift" to the bottom of my itinerary.
"Granny!"
"Yes baby?"
"What"s his name?"
"You didn"t talk to him?"
"Why should I? He could be a bad guy after all"
"No, he"s your husband"
"So what"s his name?"
"You"ll find out when you meet again"
"At least give me his phone number"
"Don"t have it"
"What! Okay granny. If you"re gonna do a job, you"ve gotta do it well til the end"
"All I can say is that he is spicy. If I was younger, I"d probably hit on him"
"Cougar much?"
"Do you like him?"
"We"ll see about that. Does he have my number?"
"Nope, didn"t give it to him"
"You are such a bad matchmaker"
"You like him"
"No, just curious"
"Are you staying for dinner?"
"h.e.l.l yeah!"
No matter how much I pestered granny, she kept her lips sealed tighter than those noisy, hard-to-open cake containers. I ended up staying for dinner. I missed home and my family.
When evening came, I took my leave back to my apartment. Thoughts of when my next encounter would be with the mystery man filled my head. The sound of the elevator snapped me back to life. "OmG, I gotta meet it before it closes". My apartment has 64 floors, and you never know how long it"ll take for one elevator to reach the first floor. Of course, there isn"t just one elevator, I just felt like going into the one that"s currently opened. BooHoo, call me lazy.
"Hold it for me!!" I screamed in a non-noisy voice as I found my way into the elevator. I took a minute to catch my breath before I realized my floor number had been pushed. I turned to thank my elevator holder. Yup, you guessed it. It was my panty-dropper hunk of a potential husband. He stared at me with a look of surprise and a happy smile. I was shocked all the way to Mars, shocked speechless!
