[AN:] I don"t know if this is my original idea? Either way, good luck reading. *Reminder*, the chapters are short. 500-1000 words a chapter.

[AN]

I"ve never seen color.

I"ve never seen my face.

I"ve never seen my family.

I"ve never seen my friends.

I"ve never seen anything except darkness.

I was born blind.

It disappointed my parents.

It disappointed my siblings.

But they still took care of me.

They loved me for who I am.

Being blind may sound like a punishment.

But for me, it was an opportunity.

An opportunity to use my imagination.

An opportunity to hone my other senses.

If I had a wish that could be fulfilled, it would be to become someone strong.

Someone people can depend on.

Someone that saves lives.

Someone that wards off all evil.

You"ve probably read stories, picture-books, and watched movies with superheroes.

But for me? I"ve only heard of it through my friends and family.

I don"t feel it"s worth it, to pay money for something I can only hear, but not see.

I"ve never read anything.

My mother does that for me.

She reads it out loud while sitting on my bed.

Due to that, it is possible for me to imagine a lot of fantasies and dreams.

But of course, I wouldn"t know if any of them is anywhere near the real deal.

My favorite types of reads are j.a.panese, Korean and Chinese light novels.

Whether it"s typical Martial Arts, Slice of Life or Fantasy, they all pique my interest.

Every story has its own protagonist. I only like the ones that have a good protagonist.

Of course, I couldn"t read. I"m blind.

My mother does that for me as I said. Sometimes my siblings do as well.

Oh, I forgot to introduce myself. I"m Autumn. Autumn Hall to be precise.

Currently, I"m in 3rd grade in high school together with my younger sister.

The bell rings. The day is over.

My sister guides me out of the school.

I"m actually quite sensitive when it comes to my sister.

She"s been taking care of me for years now.

She"s never abandoned me.

She"s someone I can depend on.

She"s someone I want to be like.

We walk down the street until we reach the traffic lights.

Of course, I can"t really see it, but my sister tells me where we are.

That"s what she usually does.

It helps me keep my thoughts organized.

Don"t ask why though.

The lights are green, and we walk across the street.

-toot, toot, toot-

Out of nowhere, I hear the horn from a vehicle.

It sounds like a truck.

-bang-

I don"t actually feel the impact.

But it is quite ironic.

I get run over by a truck.

What better way could I possibly end my life?

I may not have told you, but my favorite thing about novels is the transmigration ones.

Especially when the protagonist gets run down by a truck.

Truck-kun. That"s what people call the Truck.

You"d probably think I"d be sad that I died?

Not really. I"ve never seen my family or friends.

Therefore I don"t have an image imprinted in my mind of them.

I only know their voices. That"s all.

I try to move my body, but I can"t feel anything.

There"s no smell either.

Neither are there any sounds like there should be.

It feels weird.
