Magic Power:
Magic Power is the main component used by those in the magic arts, also known as energy. It is one"s ability to channel and trans.m.u.te magic into a physical force. It can naturally be restored by resting.
---------------
Contracting:
In certain cases, Magic Power can also be shared between 2 people. To Nekomata, it is called a contracting ceremony. To the Elves, it"s a bonding ceremony.
---------------
Magic:
It is also a main component used by those in the magic arts, sometimes referred to as just power. There are many theories as to where Magic comes from.
Magic can also be used for everyday things, known as Utility Magic. Utility Magic is magic that has been channeled into a gem. A notable example are lamps. The higher quality of a gem, such as a diamond, can channel even more powerful magic.
---------------
The Elements:
Magic is divided into subgroups, known as the elements. There are currently 6 known elements and 1 extinct element.
---
Dark:
The element of the night. The rarest, hardest to learn, and most dangerous of the elements known. It is widely used by demons such as Lilith. It can make the user invisible, unseen by the naked eye. Though it"s the element of the night, it cannot control shadows by itself. Most of its spells require an incantation or a Grimoire.
---
Earth:
The element of rocks and dirt. It is the easiest of the elements to learn, but has limited applications. It"s main application is terraforming and construction. The only element to not have any incantations
---
Fire:
The element of flames. It is the easier elements to learn and most widely used. Because it can create light, it is widely used for creating lamps. It can also be used as pyrotechnics and explosion magic.
---
Holy:
The element of the heavens, also known as light magic. The one of the hardest to learn and dangerous, second to the dark element. It is the element of choice by Ostroven and it"s armies. It can burn impurities, purify waters, heal others, and throw spears of light.
---
Ice:
The element of the cold. It has gone extinct
---
Water:
The element of the sea. It"s the second easiest to learn and used by sailors and Navies. It can use humidity in the air to create water, create ocean waves and even rain.
