Love Unfolding

Chapter 51

Chapter 51

Andy visited Donna"s place one fine afternoon on that weekend.

They were by the porch seated around a small table sipping their canned beers.

"Isn"t it too early for this?" Andy shook the can in her hand.

"I don"t have anything to offer in the fridge or would you prefer water?"

"Nah," Andy gulped the beer and slouched in her seat looking heavenward.

Donna let out a small laugh then straightened up her legs enough to reach the railing.

"I"m feeling guilty." Andy said.

Donna turned to look at her friend with arched brows.

"I"m feeling sorry for all the boys I"ve rejected before."

Donna laughed. "Why is that?"

"If only I knew, confessing isn"t as easy as eating an apple, I would have given them consideration before blatantly rejecting, I guess? Ugh…"

Donna laughed hard with that.

"Is it really that hard? I think you should make a move really really soon."

"She"s a catch and a lot are eyeing her." Donna added.

Andy rolled her eyes.

"Why does your thoughts always aligned with that of my brother?"

"I think you would make a really good couple." Andy added.

Donna choked at her beer.

"Are you nuts?"

"It won"t work out." Donna reasoned.

"They say, opposite attracts, so if that is the case then we"ll just repel each other."

"Wow, so you somehow considering my brother?"

"No," Donna answered without a second thought.

"I"m not into older men." She winked.

They both laughed.

"Seriously though," Donna continued. "Just confess already."

Andy sighed. "It"s not that easy."

"Every time that I try I get tongue tied."

Donna laughed again while shaking her head.

"I always get stuck every time, ugh..."

"Even if I think the atmosphere is right, I can"t suddenly find the right word."

Andy sighed again.

"The words just won"t fit really, so I end up not saying anything at all."

Donna"s laughter got louder and louder and it"s starting to annoy Andy.

"Enough of this, I"m hungry." Andy got up and fixed her shirt.

"Sorry, but I don"t have anything for you to eat here."

"Then we"ll just grab some pizza. I know a place."

[***********]

Erika sat alone in a pizza house twirling the straw of her avocado shake. She"d been there for a while.

There were even a couple of gentlemen hitting on her asking to share a table with her but she nicely declined them.

She"s waiting for someone and she"s getting p.i.s.sed off for the wasted time she had to endure waiting.

Then as the sound of the wind chimes echoed implying someone"s arrival, a woman walked her way inside turning everyone"s attention to her.

A half breed.

She has golden brown hair, a prominent blue eyes, a sensual lips and a figure that of an hour gla.s.s.

Also, there was an extra ordinary s.e.xual magnetism to the way she paced her way to Erika"s table.

Erika could only smile.

It was her cousin.

"Mei"
