Chapter 1116: True G.o.d
w.a.n.g Yu was the most familiar with the kind of people that were in Quan Zhen Sect.
These fellas had always had this belief that the enemies of their enemies could be their comrade-in-arms. As long as they had a common enemy, even if they were strangers, they could pull them to their side to work with them.
Evidently, the other party was well aware of the way the Quan Zhen Sect operated. In fact, they seemed to be extremely fearful of how these fellas could pull others in to work with them.
In Salat City, the Mystery Pavilion could be considered a large and independent guild. If there were no conflicting interests, they would never bother meddling with the affairs of a small guild like the Thousand Waves Palace.
Even so, the other party was still adamant about trapping Mystery Observer here. This proved how much of a fear the Quan Zhen Sect had instilled in them previously.
There was no need to talk about w.a.n.g Yu. Just his ability to fend off a thousand enemies by himself was publicly recognised to be ridiculous.
In the gaming world, an expert was not someone who could fight players of different levels. The key is how many enemies that one player can control.
For peak level players in the Quan Zhen Sect with the exception of w.a.n.g Yu, controlling over ten ordinary players alone was an easy feat.
Everyone knew how strong w.a.n.g Yu was and also how fast he could run. Not only that, he even knew how to fly and use Qinggong. He is just like a slippery mudfish and as long as he was willing, there was basically n.o.body who could capture him. Even an army of a thousand soldiers wouldn’t be able to contain him.
A thousand soldiers was not a small number. In an ordinary guild war, the total number of players on both sides could amount to over one thousand. This meant that w.a.n.g Yu’s existence was far beyond what the two opposing guilds could contain.
Therefore, the other party would never dare to fight the Quan Zhen Sect without pulling out these two key figures.
In this entire game, there were already not many who could confidently claim that they were capable of keeping Mystery Pavilion at bay. However, there was simply no one who could guarantee holding w.a.n.g Yu back.
In order to eliminate these two unstable figures, the only way was this. Trapping w.a.n.g Yu and Mystery Observer in this unique dungeon.
Of course, while everything seemed smooth and dependable. Acting against Mystery Pavilion first exposed Thousand Waves Palace themselves. However, it didn’t matter even if they expose themselves as long as they manage to eliminate key figures such as w.a.n.g Yu and Mystery Observer. After all, they would be exposing themselves sooner or later when they acted.
“F*ck me! What a cunning person!”
Hearing w.a.n.g Yu’s explanation, Mystery Observer and Unfathomable Mystery took in a deep breath of cold air before asking in shock, “City Lord Iron Bull, who is this formidable enemy that you’re talking about?”
Having such rigorous schemes, deep foresight and guts to deal with the Quan Zhen Sect, the enemies must be exceptional talents. Even though there were many players in the game, there was only a small portion of the top experts. And from this small pool of experts, not everyone would have an enmity against the Quan Zhen Sect so the range of possible enemies was not wide at all.
Who knew that w.a.n.g Yu would actually shake his head, “Our Quan Zhen Sect has too many enemies so I have no idea.”
“F*ck…”
The two of them almost collapsed when they heard this… This infamous Quan Zhen Sect had really offended so many players in this gaming industry that they couldn’t even keep up with it.
This is what a true G.o.d looks like!
w.a.n.g Yu quickly added, “Regardless of who the enemy is, our current focus should be to clear this dungeon. Otherwise, the fellas from Quan Zhen Sect will be in trouble.”
“Clear the dungeon?”
Mystery Observer and Unfathomable Mystery were stunned yet again…
There were merely four of them here and one of them was a player with insignificant strength capable of only menial tasks. How could they possibly think of standing a chance to clear a dungeon even a large guild couldn’t? It seemed like this fella was indeed the true G.o.d of the Quan Zhen Sect.
…
In the Twilight City Inn.
The inn was where players often patronised because it was the closest thing to a bar in the game.
Bringing ladies for a drink was a subtle hint.
Moreover, there were lecherous b*stards like Fearless in the inn.
As usual, Fearless had been carrying on the Quan Zhen Sect’s tradition of being arrogant and despotic. He sat at the most eye-catching spot in the inn as he held onto a gla.s.s of cheap wine and started observing the ladies who were walking in and out of the inn.
The idiom: ‘The wine-lover’s heart is not in the cup’ refers to people like Fearless.
In a system shop, Fearless could stay as long as he wanted as long as he did not finish his wine. The Boss cannot do anything to him.
Everyone had their own tempers so when these women felt the lecherous gazes by Fearless, they would naturally feel uncomfortable and unhappy. Every time someone wanted to teach Fearless a lesson, the Yin-yang fish badge in front of his chest would pop out and force these people back.
Yin-yang fish represents the Quan Zhen Sect. Seated in front of them was a Priest and evidently, he was the leader of the Quan Zhen Sect and in Twilight City, this was basically a taboo.
As Fearless continued enjoying his view of the ladies, he even rated these ladies in his heart.
At this point, Fearless suddenly grabbed the staff that he placed beside him. He lifted and waved it around as a white light enveloped him.
Concurrently, an a.s.sa.s.sin appeared behind Fearless as his dagger was thrust fiercely towards Fearless’s back.
“Boom!”
When the dagger pierced through Fearless’ body, the a.s.sa.s.sin felt as though he had struck a wall. He was forced backwards while Fearless simply sat there motionless.
Fearless received a notification: You’ve been attacked and now you have…
“No name? Are you afraid that I find out who you are?”
Fearless turned his head casually. The a.s.sa.s.sin was indeed covering his face and was clearly hiding his ident.i.ty.
The a.s.sa.s.sin looked shockingly at Fearless, “The Holy Light s.h.i.+eld? How did you know I am behind you?”
“Hehe!”
Fearless pointed at a stood near his table as he sneered coldly, “Brother, there are more people who want to kill me than you ever imagined. Do you really think I will sit here without being on guard?”
“…”
The a.s.sa.s.sin saw a stool that he knocked down beside Fearless and was slightly speechless. After a while, he continued, “It seems like you’re pretty careful but so what? You’re merely a Priest and I won’t even sweat if I want to kill you.”
“Haha!” Fearless smiled while lifting the wine gla.s.s in his hand. He looked at the a.s.sa.s.sin through the reflection on his gla.s.s as he replied, “Violence is not the way to settle anything. Will you believe if I say that you will not be able to touch me at all?”
“Bullsh*t!”
Hearing Fearless’ provocation, that a.s.sa.s.sin acted as though this was the worst humiliation he had received in his entire life. He shouted and raised his dagger towards Fearless.
Fearless smiled slightly as he threw out his wine gla.s.s.
When the a.s.sa.s.sin saw the wine gla.s.s flying towards him, he subconsciously swung his dagger and broke the gla.s.s.
Before the a.s.sa.s.sin could arrive in front of Fearless, the inn’s Boss used instant teleportation to grab the infuriated a.s.sa.s.sin. He exclaimed, “Mister, I’m just trying to earn a living here. Please do not do this…”
“???”
The a.s.sa.s.sin was astonished.
“Bye bye!” Fearless waved his hand at the a.s.sa.s.sin before inserting his staff near his waist and walked out of the inn.
