The ten shadow clones of Jiro stared at the hive of the bees with a look of antic.i.p.ation on their faces. Original had requested for them to move the hive over to the tree in which they all lived by using power to convince the bees. They had been in this realm for thirty days and the growth of the original"s chakra levels had been exponential. The environment made his chakra grow at a rate unprecedented compared to when he was at home.

Jiro"s growth in chakra levels naturally meant a growth in his levels of chakra control. The drill which he called the stinger technique was formed from five separate layers that rotated in different directions along with a point. Jiro could currently only form the point as well as one layer, but he would eventually master the technique.

Even though he did not master it, it tore throught many materials with ease, but his formed technique was unable to tear through chakra. The growth in both chakra control and chakra levels eventually made Jiro feel confident to confront the bee nest with his shadow clones. Jiro would have gone in person, but he had found out that the egg needed a constant exposure to his chakra so he had to stay within the nest.

Before he could confront the bees, Jiro spent a lot of clones to observe the hive as well as the bees. The bees in question seemed to communicate with chakra based on intention. He sent a clone that was emanating an aura of peace. In return, the bees were not aggressive, but the bees were cautious. He then sent a clone that was leaking killing intent which immediately sent the bees into a frenzy so they stung the clone into oblivion. Jiro spent a couple of minutes reeling from the pain of running through the memories of the clone.

Jiro finally grew confident enough in the intelligence of the bees. He sent the clones and that is where the clones are standing now. They are all emanating an aura of dominance while staring at the bees. Dominance to the bees was apparently a mix of killing intent and pride so the clones were emanating that. Jiro wanted for his clones to kill some bees while forcing them to move their hive over to his tree.

The clones still stood there while staring at the bees, but they were not moving or running off. Normally the bees would be moving all about, but they were rarely this solemn. The clones figured that something important would be happening so they got ready for battle when a giant bee five times larger than the other bees came out of the caverns of the hive to the entrance of the hive.

"What do you want, stranger?"

One of the clones immediately dismissed himself in order to spread the news to Jiro while all the other clones immediately formed a defensive formation. Jiro opened his eyes as he received the information from the clone. He took a couple of minutes to formulate his thoughts before forming another shadow clone that was immediately sent. Meanwhile one of the clones was conversing with the queen bee.

"I am the clone to Jiro Uchiha. He is sending another clone that represents his will as well as what he wants. I currently request for you to wait for his immediate representative to arrive."

The queen bee was not happy with the delay as well as rudeness of Jiro. Her anger was made well known as the bees began to get agitated. She calmed herself and the bees before she then harumphed in anger and retorted.

"Some one that wishes to discuss conditions should not just send a mere clone over."

"A mere clone is enough to deal with an insect that developed intelligence like you."

The new shadow clone that Jiro had sent had arrived within minutes of being deployed. The rest of the shadow clones quickly protected the new clone while they formed b.a.l.l.s of fire in their hands. The bees in the vicinity immediately began to buzz in anger and worry creating a large buzzing noise that echoed throughout the forest. The queen bee buzzed something in response which quieted the other bees down.

"Why would you figure that I am only an insect that developed intelligence? I am an intelligent member of the bees and I will not be referred to as an insect."

"You are not part of any clans because you are the only intelligent one among the rest of the bees. If there was an intelligent one, it would be used as a body guard by you as your large and unwieldy body is a weakness."

The queen bee apparently satisfied with his answer. She was dissatisfied with his rudeness, but an ally would be useful so she asked the most important question.

"What can you offer?"

The clone grinned as it responded with a single word.

"Protection."

The queen bee buzzed in apparent anger at being a.s.sumed to be in need of protection. She made quite a show of it too as about a hundred more bees exited from the hive ready for battle.

"I do not need protection."

The clones grin got even bigger as it snapped its fingers. The other clones immediately activated their fire jutsu which caused the bees to panic again.

"You live near the edge of the forest. The bees under your command don"t dare to completely exit the forest while none are sent to explore the depths of the forest. You are afraid of the unknown and I can offer protection against the unknown."

The queen bee finally seemed to have acquiesced and as she was exiting the protection of the hive, a sharp cry could be heard from the sky. A large bird several times larger than the queen bees was circling the nest having identified its next meal. The bees surrounding the queen buzzed in defiance, but it was subdued. The queen looked to the clones of Jiro with desperation within its compound eyes.

The clones just looked at her with boredom before pointing down. The bird in question immediately fell down and landed at their feet. A Genjutsu had been cast on the bird. The bird had perceived that it was still flying even though it was falling. While it was falling, it remained unaware that it was falling until it was too late. The bees as well as the queen witnessed the power of the clones. They immediately buzzed in reverence and submission.

Jiro looked down at the hive which had bees buzzing around it. After the show of power, the queen became agreeable to his request to her making the new hive on his tree. They were also willing to give up a certain amount of their honey. After discussing with the queen, Jiro found that the key to making the drill tear through chakra lied in employing the natural chakra of the environment. It was naturally impossible for the chakra of a person to compare to that of nature making it possible for the bees to tear through chakra with their stinger chakra. While the bees naturally acc.u.mulated natural chakra into their stingers, Jiro had to find a way to acc.u.mulate natural chakra into himself.

Even though Jiro was interested in the ability to tear through chakra, he still needed to master the form of the technique before applying natural chakra. That being said, for his side of the deal, he had to protect the queen as well as the future queen bee in exchange for their honey and services.
