Akane was horrified, amazed, and confused at the same time. She was amazed that Jiro performed his first Genjutsu at just over a year old with the a.s.sistance of his one tomoe sharingan. However, that brought up the question of how he obtained the sharingan at such a young age. Akane hoped that he just happened to unlock it without any trauma, but she was afraid that it might have been due to other kids. Jiro always seemed to have trouble when it came to getting along with other kids, but she hoped that his social troubles were not what unlocked the sharingan.Akane was not ignorant to the coldness of Jiro. He always started off disliking others and he only seemed to be tolerant of others in his clan at best. He seemed to be most tolerant of Fugaku, but the incident yesterday showed that Fugaku was not as important to Jiro as she had hoped. Jiro"s penchant for murdering ants made him seem s.a.d.i.s.tic, but he didn"t show any joy after squishing them. He left them crippled in order to observe how the other ants would react in response to having a cripple among them.
Junichiro was somewhat shocked at how antisocial Jiro was. Junichiro was well aware that Jiro did not try to get along with the rest of his clan, but Akane whispered to him how Jiro even attacked his own brother. Junichiro did not know if Jiro actually attacked Fugkau with malicious intent. Genjutsu was about the intent. Jutsus could utilize Genjutsu to deliver an attack such as the Demonic Illusion: h.e.l.l Viewing Technique, but Jiro did not know any Jutsus to utilize Genjutsu so Junichiro could only guess at why Jiro lashed out against Fugaku. Jiro frequently displayed behaviors showcasing how he wanted to be alone so Junichiro guessed that the Genjutsu was only supposed to scare off Fugaku so that Jiro would be left alone.
Jiro woke up to a very tired body. He tried to remember what happened yesterday. He could recall being asked by a girl if he wanted to play. He could also remember giving Fugaku an explanation on why he was observing the ants. Then Jiro remembered that he was feeling very irritated the whole day because there was a strange feeling of pressure near his eyes. The pressure got relieved while talking to Fugaku, but there was a familiar, but foreign sensation of energy flowing to his eyes. He then tried to signal Fugaku that he wanted to be alone, but Fugaku would not leave so he did something which left his body feeling very tired and drained.
Jiro tried to direct that strange energy back to his eyes and when he looked around, he could notice the finer details not noticeable unless he looked from a short distance. His eyesight was improved and he could see Fugaku murmur something while rolling on his bed, but Fugaku seemed to be moving slower than usual. He then started to look around in his room to see what else was new about his sight.
Akane walked into the room of Fugaku and Jiro to wake them up, but she saw that Jiro had activated his sharingan and was looking everywhere with a tinge of surprise and curiosity on his face. Alarmed, she quickly strode over to Jiro and whispered:
"Jiro, turn off your sharingan"
Jiro looked at Akane with a look of confusion on his face and he opened his mouth, beginning to ask what the sharingan was. Unfortunately, before Akane could answer, Jiro fainted again. Akane was determined to share the necessary information about the sharingan to Jiro and Fugaku so she waited for Jiro to wake up. Before Jiro woke up, she figured that she should explain the basics about chakra and the sharingan to Fugaku.
When Jiro came to, he saw everyone including his dad, who would usually be gone to work in the morning, in the living room. He walked over to join them and heard a couple of foreign terms such as "chakra" fly over his head. Jiro saw that Fugaku was visibly excited and Fugaku ran over immediately invading Jiro"s personal s.p.a.ce. Jiro was about to do what he did yesterday, but his mom seemed to have unleashed some energy over him which prevented him succeeding.
Akane suppressed a sigh of relief after quickly flooding the room with her own chakra which prevented Jiro from activating his sharingan. Jiro looked very uncomfortable with Fugaku chattering next to him, but he began to listen in earnest after Akane and Junichiro started to explain the wonders of the sharingan as well as the properties of chakra. The discussion lasted until late at night thanks to Jiro asking a mult.i.tude of questions in a rather unusual display of excitement.
Jiro woke up feeling a fire burning in his gut with the sun shining into his room. It wasn"t the painful kind, but it was the kind of fire that keeps people moving. He felt feelings of numbness gradually begin to melt away as he began to recall the explanation of the world yesterday. History, culture, geography, ninja, civilians, and more. His mom had probably only meant to explain the sharingan and chakra to him, but Jiro wanted to know more about this new world he lived in. He was fascinated and the flames of wonder within his heart were ignited for the first time since he was reincarnated. Jiro spent the next couple of months grilling his parents about information pertaining to the world.
Junichiro and Akane were discussing whether they should start teaching their kids. Fugkau and Jiro were both quickly approaching the age of two, but Fugaku was still a kid at heart and was not likely to pay complete attention if he was to be taught. Jiro on the other hand was clearly intelligent enough to understand whatever they might want to teach him and he was enthusiastic about learning more about the world in general. Unfortunately, Jiro and Fugaku did not get along that well with each other. Fugaku wanted to be a leadership figure like Junichiro as the Uchiha police chief. He tried to teach Jiro to be his right hand, but Jiro was usually unwilling to listen because he liked his independence.
On the topic of Jiro, after they had talked about chakra, Jiro seemed to have been filled with life. His eyes danced with the flames of pa.s.sion and he was eager to know more about chakra and the world. Akane and Juncihiro were glad to indulge Jiro and answer the questions he had. Jiro had so many questions and he was so lively over the next couple of months that Akane and Junichiro were wondering if he was the same antisocial kid. It turns out that Jiro still did not like to hang out with the other kids while Fugaku tried to establish himself into a leadership role even though he was a couple years younger than some of the older kids.
Jiro yearned to learn more about how to use chakra and Genjutsu, but his parents said that he would only be taught after he turned three years old. Akane and Junichiro hoped that teaching Jiro and Fugaku at once would foster a friendly rivalry which would help to repair their somewhat estranged relationship.
In preparation for when Jiro and Fugaku would turn three, Akane started to look around for a suitable tutor to start teaching the academy basics. Junichiro was a firm beleiver that the basics would build a strong foundation, but a foundation would not help in being a proper shin.o.bi. Junichiro planned to teach the Uchiha taijutsu as well as other clan specialties to his sons and Akane wanted her kids to be safe so she agreed.
