"Why the h.e.l.l are you trying to stop me from saving my daughter!" Anthony roared at the policemen infront who are blocking their way."General Barrons, this is the police"s job to save a person from being kidnapped. Military cannot involve themselves in this. I hope you understand that we are only doing our job." A man in his police uniform answered back.
"My daughter is in danger! The daughter of a soldier is being threatened and this incident might be a plot against us by OUR ENEMIES and yet the military can"t involve themselves?!!" Anthony said in anger. Just as he was about to shout again, he was stopped by David on his side.
"Let"s talk for a while." He said while holding his right shoulder.
Anthony tried to curb in his anger and went on the side to talk with his friend.
"I don"t think this is not a simple matter. Someone"s really after you, and they actually have the support of the police." David said.
"Ha! Whoever plots against me and my family will not have a good ending!"
David could only sigh at his friend"s simple answer. Anthony has always been like this. He is very straight forward and doesn"t concern himself with schemes. This is one of the reason why he still isn"t promoted for years. This time, he can only help him deal with the underhanded tactic the enemies are doing by keeping watch for him.

"s.h.i.t. The police are here, we need to leave." One of the kidnapper"s said.
"d.a.m.n it! This is this little witch"s fault!" He muttered angrily.
Sorcha watched them as she pants heavily. She"s too tired already, and she feels as if her consciousness is about to leave her. But she can"t give up, especially when help is almost here.
She still fought them. And when the men finally gave up on taking her, and just as when she was about to take a sigh of relief..
*Bang! Bang!*
Gunshots were heard.
"b.a.s.t.a.r.d! Why did you shoot her?!" A guy said.
"Why? Since we couldn"t catch her then this is just right!" He answered in annoyance.
"Tsk. Forget it." The guy again said, and made a signal for his men to leave. "Let"s go."
Sorcha looked at them as their figures started to disappear one by one. She gazed at her stomach and touched it with her hand. She felt a sticky liquid on her fingers. She could faintly hear gunshots not far from where she is. But she can no longer care about that.
The world around her is slowly turning dark. She stared blankly for a while, and the last thing she saw was a familiar figure running anxiously towards her. When that person reached her, giving her the feeling of safety, she finally lost consciousness.
