Farah.Jumeirah Beach, Dubai.
6:50 am.
Farah was sitting on the sand gazing at the beautiful sea before her in complete silence. Noah left her five minutes ago to get her a bottle of water. She heard some ruffles on the sand; she looked at her left and saw Noah walking toward her with a small smile. He reached her and then sat next to her after giving her the cold bottle.
She gladly took it from his hand, smiling at him as he moved his body to look at her. "Tell me what happened?" he said, encouraging her to talk while caressing her back. "I"m all ears."
Farah took a deep breath and began to tell him what happened to her. "I don"t think I"m mad at him… I didn"t fell in love… it was more like a safe zone for me… and even after what happened, I don"t think I cried because of him, it feels like it opened my heart to another pain… something deep inside… something I didn"t get to grief." she smiled.
"Grief, that"s a big word," Noah said and smirked.
"Believe me, I don"t know what it is exactly I"m grieving for, it just… feels like it," she said. "You know my dad blamed me for what happened… he said it was my fault because I"m the one who chose Adam, and mom blamed me on how I didn"t see it coming. No one asked how I was feeling… I guess being the only girl in this family didn"t give me any chance to be spoiled." she wiped a couple of tears on her cheeks and looked at him.
Noah held her hands and smiled at her; He had the type of face and body that makes any woman weak at the knees, he had a strong defined diamond face with attractive chin dimple, stubble beard, mesmerizing brown eyes, and thick flat black eyebrows with a little arch. He had a well-defined nose, sharp full lips, and a beautiful thick black tousled medium length hair that gave him a fresh young vibe. He was tall with the body of a professional athlete.

Farah drank half of the bottle at one shot; she was thirsty as if all her tears made her dehydrated. She was calmer; finally breathing normally. "I don"t know what to tell you; I never thought you were in such pain," Noah said.
"Me neither, I guess I needed to talk before I explode and don"t tell Malika I cried," she said and pointed at him.
"Why not?" he chuckled.
"I don"t cry in front of people," she said and took another sip. "No idea why I cried in front of you… I guess I feel too comfortable with you," she said and smirked.
"Of course, you do; all women do," he said arrogantly.
"Right." Farah gave him a derisive look. "Sure," she said deadpan.
"Are you saying I"m not attractive?"
Farah laughed. "I didn"t mention anything about being attractive, I said comfortable," she said, and air quoted the last word.
"Being comfortable is part of being attractive."
"No, it"s not," she sneered.
"All girls love when a man is pa.s.sionate and listens to them," he said and pointed at himself.
"That"s a different case."
"How?" Noah laughed. They always had these types of arguments that turned into teasing conversations.
"That happens when a woman is looking at a man."
"What?" he said and raised both of his eyebrows in honest shock. "You don"t see me as a man, all this rugged manhood isn"t enough, you hugged me tight back there and apparently, you enjoyed it."
"I was crying; I could hug a sloth at that point! and I can see how attractive you are I"m not blind, but still… it doesn"t mean anything," she said deadpan.
"A lot of women wish to be in your place now."
"I know I"m a very lucky woman," she said and looked at the sea.
"Why is it so hard for you to admit that you see me as a man?" Noah asked.
"I already did! And it"s not like you treat me as the hottest woman on earth either to treat you like that," she said, looking back at him.
"You"re definitely hot and I totally see you as a woman"— took the bottle of water from her hand and drank the rest of the bottle— "that"s how good I am, you should be grateful," he said and winked at her.
"Do you want me to flirt with you or something?" she said and smiled widely.
"No, just admit the truth."
"I did!" — she took a deep breath and rolled her eyes. she held his hand and looked deeply into his eyes— "fine! Noah, you"re a hottie annoying rugged man." Noah laughed; he loved to tease her to the point of losing her patience. She laughed back and moved her hands away.

The waiter put the dishes hard on the table followed by his multiple apologizes for his harsh move.
Farah startled a little. Malika looked distracted as well; It was hard for her to accept that it didn"t happen. It felt like a memory was taken away from her. Farah nudged her and told her to start eating while the food was still hot and delicious.
