Chapter 1: PROLOGUE
The judge perused over the book of life while looking annoyed, the soul that waited to know his future trembled in fear but had no courage to make a noise, perhaps mainly because of fear, but cannot help but have the tought of how troublesome this was.
He has gone through life without much effort and have managed to have a comfortable life. That word, comfortable, was what defined his life. Never getting over the trouble to get more, he was lazy, he did not put effort in anything beyond the minimum. And that minimum effort was because it was more troublesome to endure the nagging of his parents and other "conserned" individuals.
What this lazy soul did not know was that the way on wich he spent his life was not unique to him, the him that he is now. His 3 previous lives have gone in a similar way, apparently being lazy was branded to his very soul and it was precisely this that had annoyed the judge. The judge was angry at how this brat wasted another life again and it seemed that the next life, and the next one after that, would have exactly the same pattern, making him angrier by the second.
Thus, while tapping the armrest of his ancient looking chair, decided to give punishment to the annoying brat and got a good idea. To be honest he did not expect to fix the lazy behaviour of this soul, but it would at least calm his anger.
While giving a chilling smile, said with a cold voice:
- "You have wasted another life, it seems that the gift that life itself is has no meaning to you."
The lazy soul trembled in fear, but then again, arguing or begging was too troublesome.
- "I decided to give you a lesson! Normally while restarting the cycle of life, the soul would lose all memory, but since you will not be reincarnating as it is, I would allow you to keep the memories of the animes and novels that you liked so much in life and the memory that you are being punished for being lazy and wasting the gift that life is!"
At this, the lazy trembling soul could not help but ask in fear.
- "W-what do you m-mean by that"
The judge smiled while the light in the room seemed to dim and said:
- "For the next two lives, your soul would be attached to a random person. You will have no control or possibility to communicate or affect anything at all, you will only witness and nothing more!" "And after these two lives end, you will reincarnate directly into a random world, lets see if this can take your laziness away, should we?"
The lazy soul looked dubiously, as he started to dissipate, he could not believe what he have just heard and wondered where the punishment was, he would only have to watch a very long "movie" and enjoy the ride, but the chilling smile of the judge gave him a dark omen.
