Nawaki watched as his older sister continued to train. She would punch a tree so leaves would start falling down. She would then try to pierce each of the leaves with a finger or gently use her fists to tap against them. Nawaki had tried earlier to replicate his sister, but he quickly realized the difficulty behind trying the action. The wind would stir up as he tried to punch a leaf making it move very unpredictably and piercing was even harder because it required a greater amount of control as well as force.

Nawaki also noticed that Tsunade was using chakra and sculpting it into scalpels when she took a break from hitting the tree as well as the leaves. It looked really cool so he asked about it, but it was for medic nin specifically and it required very strong chakra control. Unfortunately, before he could ask more questions, Nawaki realized that he had to study for a test so he got ready to leave in order to study for it.

As he was leaving, Nawaki was wondering if his older sister was training for the Chunin exams. The exams in Suna were not cancelled, but no ninjas from Konoha were sent because Suna sent a letter explaining that they would not host the exams for Konoha. Apparently, the missions that Konoha received from the Land of Wind were starting to intrude into the missions that Suna needed to accomplish for the monetary reward. The next Chunin exams would be in Iwa, but there had been rumors earlier about Iwa trying to invade the Land of Fire so he was not sure if his sister as well as her team would go.

Unbeknownst to both Tsunade and Nawaki, Sarutobi was watching them from his office while sighing in lament. Jiraiya had been hit hard by the fact that he could have lost the opportunity to be a father and he was training with some other teachers as Tsunade was not able to face Jiraiya yet. She had taken the harsh lesson about control very dearly and she was desperately working to make sure she would never hurt a friend again. Orochimaru was left on his own, but he was doing fine with being alone.

Sarutobi was glad that his two rowdier students realized the importance behind training and were once again training with a pa.s.sion instead of slacking. However, he also noticed the very lacking dynamic behind his team as a whole. They would get along and trust each other during missions, but they did not truly acknowledge each other as friends except for Jiraiya who actively tried to get along with everyone. The lack behind their team dynamic reminded Sarutobi about a conversation he had earlier with Orochimaru as well as the rest of the team

---------------------------------------------------

Sarutobi called over his students for a meeting in the training grounds and as they arrived, Tsunade was avoiding Jiraiya. Jiraiya was trying to act like everything was normal, but it wasn"t. Orochimaru looked like he had something else to ask, but Sarutobi needed their full attention.

"Alright students, I have some announcements to give. I have come to a decision about what you requested Tsunade. I am alright with having you temporarily leave this team in order to focus on being a medic nin."

Jiraiya and Orochimaru both looked surprised while Jiraiya also looked slightly angry at being left out of the loop. However, he chose to not shout and let his sensei finish talking. Tsunade was looking slightly relieved because her request was granted. She left and Jiraiya as well as Orochimaru were about to follow her so that she could answer their questions, but Sarutobi indicated for them to stay. After they had a few moments to process the information, Sarutobi continued to speak.

"Tsunade will be gone from our team for some time. During that time, Jiro will be joining us for our missions and become part of our team. I am also warning you guys right now that Tsunade"s leave from our team might turn into a permanent leave. She pursued medical ninjutsu for you guys and now she is continuing her pursuit. During that time, she might find that she wants to be a medic so make sure to respect her decision. Tsunade is going through much more than you guys might think so be thoughtful when asking questions."

---------------------------------------------------

Jiro stared in a thoughtful manner at the giant pile of steaming c.r.a.p that Kana unleashed within the nest. He had always thought that he would never have to deal with the duties of parenthood, but Jiro was mistaken. Jiro felt relief that he bothered to study water release because it was the opposite of his favored fire release. As he was washing the waste from Kana"s body away, Jiro wondered when he would actually get out of the realm.

The one hundred twenty scratches on the tablet indicated that it had been a month since Kana hatched, but she was already at the size of Jiro. Kana had shown remarkable growth in size and strength, both physical and chakra related. Unfortunately, her intelligence was at best that of a two year old kid. She was able to recognize that Jiro was her parent and that the bees down in the hive were also friendly. However, she never let the original out of her sight when Jiro used shadow clones. It was like she was a kid stalker that was latched onto Jiro and any sign of him not being present or nearby sent her into a panic.

Jiro attempted to leave shadow clones to pacify and soothe her, but she tore them apart in an impressive show of power. Jiro took that as a sign that she was very perceptive of chakra and that he should make sure that his guard is up on a daily basis. He knew that Kana would never hurt him intentionally, but the fact that his guard was down was worrisome to Jiro.

He realized that he grew somewhat complacent while staying here. The honey had such strong effects towards the body and chakra that Jiro basically made his physical body resistant to the effects of his body refining jutsu. While extended training helped his body grow stronger, his growth was currently limited.

Jiro knew that currently, there wasn"t too much to do besides hunt and help Kana grow. Although she was his size Jiro was sure that the honey was what made her have such explosive growth. Even though she was growing rapidly, she still could not fly. She was starting to grow feather, but her feathers were down feathers which were not the feathers of a bird that was ready to fly.
